Who he picks is irrelevant to me at this point.

The more liberal the better.

I would hope McShamnesty would pick the most liberal Republican or even a Democrat, possible, as his choice.

There would still be 10% of conservatives who would rationalize voting for Scarface still-because of the big bad wolf of Obama, but I know a great majority--and certainly most of Freeperdom--would RESOUNDINGLY and finally come out and help us realign the American political system with a new Conservative Alternative Focus and Mission (call it "Independent" or "Third Party" or whatever), and put the Dems(D) and the Repubs(D) into the scrap heap of history for the sorry, big government, open border fools they truly are.

“I’m still hoping for Bigfoot.”

The big hairy ape demographic tends not to vote on election day.
They just take the walking around money and spend it on beef jerky.

Reading these sorts of threads I realize how perfunctory and dispirited our trolls are this year, compared to 2004 and 2006. I think they’d really LIKE to troll with vigor, but Obama just doesn’t inspire the kind of trollery that Kerry-Edwards and the midterms did.

I’d prefer Palin, but could support Mitt. :)

Or Huckster

Was Huckster ever really vetted? I know he said about a hundred times he would be glad to serve as VP. But did anyone ever really consider him? He thought by staying in and helping McCain that he would be VP. Just wondering.

Not buying the headline. Time is just fishing for hit volume by making news.

I like Romney as a Presidential Candidate, as a VP...not so much....

I’d take Palin or jindal or cantor over Mitt, if we lose in November, I want Mitt in 2012...

Romney is a slick, snake-oil, equivocating phony. But outside of that, a pretty nice guy.

Your mileage may vary.

“If McCain wants to win, he needs to choose a conservative, not a liberal.”

If Romney was liberal he had all sort of license to raise taxes as governor, not fight spending. Yet he didn’t. The only thing anyone ever comes up with are fee increases adjusted for inflation, and many, many vetoes of spending legislation (a good thing). And a private health care initiative that has a mandate. And of course we are supposed to believe Romney controlled the court systems and the general court for the homomarriage and $50 abortions, as if it weren’t them the whole time.
