Former Representative from SW Ohio. McCain is going to be announcing, allegedly, at Dayton Ohio. That’s near Portman territory. He’s a strong conservative. Young. Doesn’t have any baggage other than having worked for a little while with the Bush administrative, but not controversial in the least.

I'll be a happy guy if McCain chooses Mitt. (I've sorta had a "feeling" for weeks that he will, FWIW.)

Also, if we can believe Time Pamphlet (formerly Time Mazazine) bet on Biden-the-plagiarist for the newborn-baby-Kevorkial Marxist Obama's veep choice.

That would be the fond hope of this conservative.

McCain could pick Jesus and it wouldn’t change my voting behavior, but this would make it that much worse for the country.

I try to find humor in this election. It comes along occasionally.

I’m fine with Romney, but I have serious doubts about the legitimacy of this rumor. We always get these types of leaks before the VP is announced and they are almost always names leaked to misdirect the press.

A pro-choice veep after all!

Oh for crying out loud will you people who are fanatic about not having a pro choice VP please knock it off! We want a VP who will help win the election and who in case of the unthinkable could step in for the president. The VP will not determine the outcome of the abortion issue. The only way that will change is if a case will come before the SCOTUS and the Rowe V Wade decision would be overturned. Then the issue will go back to the state legislatures. Or we could ammend the US Constitution. That's not going to happen. I would sooner believe in big foot then that we could stop abortion in this way. I repeat for all you knuckle draggers out there;

The vice president will not have any impact on the abortion issue. For the record I'm pro-life but I also understand the mechanics of government. The major task before us is to win the election and keep the buffoon Obama out of the White House.

Get it?

One word, ROMNEYCARE!

There is nothing conservative about government mandated and subsidized healthcare. Especially with it being in the red by $300 million -— and billions of dollars over the next decade. Romney is no conservative. He remains a phony and a fraud.

Yawn. Romney is not a liberal. Good grief. Doesn't your whining get old to you. I am not a big Romney fan, but I have the sense to know when one is a liberal versus one who is not. Me thinks you would complain about most anyone except the most extreme conservative.

Here is the deal. Either you vote for McCain or if not, you are supporting Obama. It really is that simple.

Many if not most votes are anti votes as opposed to supportive votes. That is the way it works.

But just quit whining. It is really old.
