You are right, if McCain chooses a liberal VP he does not need my vote at all because there will be no difference between him and the dems... let everybody hate the dems not McCain (which both sides will)and in 2 years of democrat shock therapy clean house and put in real republicans.

First, there is a big difference between McCain (with all his faults) and Obama.

Second, you, like so many purists, are operating under the assumption the nation could survive 2 years under a totally controlled Democrat Gov't headed by the Obama's.

Third, what 'real' Republicans are out there to retake the Government and turn thing around?

You think something like 1994 is going to occur again?

There are Republicans here of FR, who live in more of a self-delusional world then the Democrats.

McCain should pick Cantor or Chris Cox.

Who?

“So Joe says all the Dunkin’ Donuts and 7-11’s are run by Indians and D.C. is shocked, SHOCKED I tell you.”
“But the citizenry who sees, silly us, an Indian at every 7-11 and Dunkin Donuts think hey, here’s a politician who sees the world like we do!”

And those of us who work with Indians in high-tech and see plenty of 7-11s run by all sorts of people who are not Indians and think racial stereotyping is laughably lame will consider Biden (D - Beltway) a boorish gasbag.

The populace, sadly, is simply not as smart as you.

More’s the pity.

Romney is a HORRIBLE choice for McCain to choose.

He is responsible for the bankrupt Mass. Health care system. It's out of money. He's proud of his accomplishment.

Common sense says: ‘Stay away from Romney!’

Let us all hope that McCain-whoever attacks!!!!! Biden for the fool that he is.

Let us have have our candidates suspend the ‘rules of the Senate’ and get down!

In the last few days there was a post/comment on FR about Biden pontificating for I believe 26 minutes and finishing off by suggesting we send $200 million to Iran. I believe it was either at a confirmation Senate session or an investigation.

I have tried searching to find it again without success.

Can someone remember this and point me to the link?

Thanks.

Yes!

Earlier this morning I was looking for any last minute USA medal pictures and they were posting closing ceremony pics at the same time. I won’t spoil it, but the light jammie suits are back...and they have vehicles.

Smilen' Joe Bidenating:
At the Tuesday-morning meeting with committee staffers, Biden launches into a stream-of-consciousness monologue about what his committee should be doing, before he finally admits the obvious: "I'm groping here." Then he hits on an idea: America needs to show the Arab world that we're not bent on its destruction. "Seems to me this would be a good time to send, no strings attached, a check for $200 million to Iran," Biden declares. He surveys the table with raised eyebrows, a How do ya like that? look on his face.
