Over and over we see this. 'Legal' immigrants hiring and exploiting and trafficking illegal aliens. We need a do over on our 'legal' entry system as well. These two are still operating the restaurant. Why aren't they being deported??
This doesn't change the fact that they should have been deported yesterday. If they were legal, they would, however, remain a tremendous asset to any chef's kitchen.
Complaining about the pervasiveness of illegals in certain US industries is like a Roman complaining about the pervasiveness of slaves in the Empire. The sad fact is that our society utilizes many sources of cheap labor.
There is probably no restaurant in the US that hasn’t employed illegals at one time or another.
And if you ever ate a tomato, it was picked by a migrant, and chances are that some of the tomatoes you have eaten were picked by illegals.
It’s a labor/cost issue, not an immigration issue.
I hope the reason is because they want to collect the fines and back taxes due first.
In other news, it was recently discovered that the world is not flat.
But these legal immigrants that are exploiting illegals and defrauding the US Govt are just trying to make there dream come true. /S

May-be he should be set on the other side of the south fence with no documation.
“Why aren’t they being deported??”
That’s probably coming. Now that they have a felony conviction they’ll probably be put in deportation proceedings.
Every employer of an illegal alien should be charged ALL the expense that illegal alien and/or his family has cost the city/state and for the cost of deporting them all back to their home nation......
That and only that will stem the flow and reverse the destruction of the Republic.
