Obviously you’re talking about the Democrat wet dream of a filibuster-proof majority.
That’s ALL it is. A wet dream that the democrats (and apparently, you) share. Lots of folks — including dims with a clue — disagree. Google.
Now, even IN the very unlikely situation of a filibuster-proof majority, conservatives with balls (like Tom Coburn and John Cornyn and Jeff Sessions) WILL be heard (granted, to a lesser degree and he’ll have to work harder) and they WILL embarrass his Donkee colleagues. And, make no mistake, they WILL get press. If the Dims have the majority even the MSM will get on ‘em, otherwise they can’t justify their sorry existence.
On the other hand— we don’t need any more brainless “Gang of XX” stupid self-serving deals cut by your buddies.
And yet another way of looking at it: if we’re saddled with RINO monkeys who will vote with the Dems anyway, what’s the difference? Might as well let the Dimocraps screw up AND take the blame (instead of pinning it on willing play-nice RINOs like your heroes).
Here is the key to our conservatives “being heard.”
You can’t set the agenda in Congress unless you control the committee chairmanships. For that, in reality, you need the support of RINOs that will be elected from blue states.
Why is Nancy Pelosi speaker? Because of Barney Franks from Mass? NO. Because of people like HEATH SHULER from RED STATES. Throw out those “conservative” (Comparatively) and replace them with Republicans, or replace some of these close races where “moderate” Dems won in Red states like Indiana and Arizona, and you put the Boehner in the Speaker’s chair and cut the nuts off of the socialists like Conyers et al. and give power to Pence, Shadegg, etc.
THAT is why you need the RINOS...the power is in the CHAIRMANSHIPS. For that, the reality is, you need RINOS also.
