With all due respect, and without taking sides, it seems to me that responding to everything that cyber liberty posts with some variation on "that's a bunch of dribble" only make you look wrong. If, on the other hand, you state WHY his statements don't make sense - you know, in a logical and coherent manner - then you might actually have a chance to convince others that you are correct.
Again, I'm not saying you're wrong - but you've given no one on this thread any reason to think that you are correct, either.
I object!!! You forgot to mention that next to the word "RINO" in the dictionary is a picture of that stupid moron, Whitman.
Seriously, if McCain were to nominate someone with a similar record and a similar stance on the issues, I would probably not show up at the polls - for me the only debate would be whether I should go to the range or spend the day reloading.
How old are you?
I'm just curious, because even my 7-year-old little girl tries to explain why she disagrees with something that my wife or I tell her to do.
Please, you're better than that. You won't convince anyone of anything while you are busy making immature ad hominem statements. If that's what you want, fine, but don't waste everyone's time with your nonsense. If you have a serious point, then make it. If not, please refrain from posting.
Oh, by the way, I think that the position that the GOP "needs" a female Vice Presidential candidate is, on its face, wrong. Here's why I think that: The GOP needs to distinguish itself as much as possible from the Dems. The Dems have 2 senators with no experience in the private sector, and who are both big government liberals with no executive experience. OK, McCain is clearly going to be the GOP nominee, and he is also a senator with very little in the way of executive experience (unless you count leading his unit, or being in charge in the Hanoi Hilton - and IMHO that alone doesn't qualify anyone for the Presidency). Thus, McCain needs someone on the ticket with executive experience, which probably means a governor or a former governor. It'd be a big plus if that person had either a great deal of private sector experience or a proven record of getting the government off the backs of the people and businesses in his/her state. Should the nominee be a female? ONLY if she met those qualifications - and, even then, it seems to me that nominating a woman in this particular election cycle would be a bit too contrived of a ploy to obtain the support of disaffected Hillary supporters. Frankly, I'd rather have them stay home, because even if they vote for McCain, they will be voting for the most liberal candidates for every other office on the ballot. Let them sulk, let them be pissed off, LET THEM STAY HOME. McCain needs to show that he is an adult, an adult who picks the best possible person to fill the Veep slot, someone who could actually step into the Presidency with more than just hope that he or she will do a decent job. THAT is what the Republicans need.
after last night the election is mccain’s to lose.
going rino = defeat
remember 2006
DINO trumps RINO
Senator “Maverick” is trying to run against Washington. Selecting Hutchison would show this tactic to be a lie. He needs to choose a governor and I’m really hoping it’s Palin.
We are already seeing the feedback from Hussein choosing a Washington insider while portraying himself as the candidate of “change”.
I stand corrected.
"Seriously, if McCain were to nominate someone with a similar record and a similar stance on the issues, I would probably not show up at the polls - for me the only debate would be whether I should go to the range or spend the day reloading."
That's why many of us are fighting so hard to make sure Slick Willard is never nominated with McCain. He's Whitman in a suit (albeit with a big difference, she was at least HONEST about being a liberal -- he's lying about being a Conservative so he can unleash Socialism once he gets power again).
....however, Kay has been a good Senator representing Texas.
I would be proud if she was chosen, though I, like you,
would LOVE for Sarah Palin to get the nod.
Kay would be good....Palin would be AWESOME!

You are exactly right!
But...if he DID think a of a female that would represent
our values, it would nearly have to be Sarah Palin from
Alaska.
PS...not that it will do any good, but I just sent an e-mail
to John McCain practically begging him to choose Ms. Palin!
LOL! Sometimes I amaze myself!

Take her, PLEASE! So we don’t have to run the risk of having two dunderheads in a row for Governor!
I was referring specifically to Gubernatorial Executive experience, for which she has none. I’m supporting her retirement from the Senate and all elective office as soon as possible. 15 years in DC is quite enough.
Well, then we agree.
I want Palin because, in MY opinion, she’s the best choice
for VP.
Period!
