Interestingly, just as Leno introduced McCain, the station decided to run an annoying green strip across the screen announcing a “weekly test”. The strip covers their faces. This is NJ/Philadelphia area. Conspiracy?

He was relaxed, a few jokes, made a few political points. Didn’t try to be too cool or too funny. I think he hit it right on. His reply on Cindy’s houses and the simple American-success story of her Dad’s beer company was good.
