Pelosi to protesters: "Can we drill your brains?"
House Democratic leaders and protesters waving McCain signs had a war of words Tuesday at a press event outside an old train station. The demonstrators interrupted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi with chants of “Drill here! Drill now!”
Pelosi paused and asked the group, “Right here?”
Seeming to enjoy the back and forth, she followed with another question: “Can we drill your brains?”

Even my 7 year old knows that sounds silly...just having the threat of drilling got the speculators to take a second look at the record prices..

It will only drop the price of gas 2 cents? That’s what they want you to believe. When we drill our own oil, it should not go on the open market. We should keep it here in the United States. Once we do that, it will free up the other oil from other countries for the rest of the world. Nothing says it has to go on the open market.....no more than anything else we produce.
