Kay believes in a woman's right to choose.
She openly favors abortion rights.
She believes that Roe was rightly decided.
She believes the Constitution guarantees a woman's right to have an abortion.
Kay Bailey Hutchinson is Pro-Choice, and OPENLY so.
DO NOT LET HER SUPPORTERS TRY AND SLIP THIS ONE BY YOU:
KBH is Pro-Choice, she is PRO-CHOICE She is PRO-CHOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please ping everyone in the universe.
Kay Bailey Hutchinson is pro-choice.
WOW! I did not know that, thanks for the info....
They need to quit mentioning this broad. She is NOT a good choice for VP
I dont like abortion but I think it’s up to the states to decide and the Feds to stay out of.
I don’t typically ask, but considering developments of the last 24 hours or so - would this be worthy of sidebar consideration?
I don’t vote for pro-choice people. I just don’t.
Plus she’s dull as dirt. NO THANKS, JOHN.
I didn’t get it? Did you you say she was PRO-CHOICE. /sarc
Fixed it.
Actually, the Constitution gives the people and Congress, not a court, the right to determine legislation.
“I dont like abortion but I think its up to the states to decide and the Feds to stay out of.”
That’s the way it was until the Supreme Court took the rights away from the states to decide.
I’ve never understood the appeal of this ding-dong anyways.
someone better tell Rush, he just mentioed her name on FOX news as a possible vp pick.
It’s Hutchison, not Hutchinson, and she does support Roe v. Wade though she adopted two foreign children while in her late fifties. People in Texas don’t know her stand on abortion, and intraparty rivals are few and far between.
Ummm, the author field say “Hutchinson herself” but the content of the post is just your own hyperventilating vanity that doesn’t back up any of your claims.
Perhaps some actual sourced quotes from the Senator would help you make your case.
KBH is a TRAIN WRECK. She is not running for re-election here in TX because we (Texans) don’t like pro-choice, pro-shamnesty RINO-lites.
Let’s make this simple for McCain, if you want the base (us conservatives), give us Romney.
‘Nuff said
P.S. Carly Fiorina is a train wreck as well. Just look at what she did to HP !
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I believe that McCain was picked by the leftist infested RNC to throw the election and marginalize the American right.

Is Palin pro-life?
It is hard to find someone in America more Pro-Life than Sarah Palin.
Start with post #12, then google.
KBH is hardcore Pro-Roe.
A sense of the Senate isn't worth the time it took to record the vote.
I'm not a Hutchison fan but I'm not convinced she's really pro-choice.
http://www.issues2000.org/Social/Kay_Bailey_Hutchison_Abortion.htm
Hutchison scores 75% by the NRLC on abortion issues
OnTheIssues.org interprets the 2006 NRLC scores as follows:
0% - 15%: pro-choice stance (approx. 174 members)
16%- 84%: mixed record on abortion (approx. 101 members)
85%-100%: pro-life stance (approx. 190 members)
I note that Biden skipped the vote. Trains not running that day?
Well then let’s just take Bob Casey, eh?
Don't let her fool you.
Well that should probably quash any talk of Veep for her. Now, about that run for governor...
As one who lives in the state whose values she has failed MISERABLY to represent, I urge calls to McCain's headquarters to discourage any more talk of this 10-faced ughhgerly who actually favors opening the borders even more to an invasion of laborers and high-tech folk alike. The ones on FreeRepublic who like the idea simply do not know her and should do their own research. A woman on the ticket for the sake of putting one there is WRONG-HEADED!
Regards . . . Penny
Wow,All the guys will vote for Palin.
Hutchison shouldn't be VP but I would like to see a Pro-life woman as VP. Hutchy is a mixed bag but I wouldn't go as far to say she's pro-choice based on a sense of the Senate vote.
Palin showed a committment to her pro-life conservative principles by not bowing to the pressure to abort her mentally-challenged child. Rarely are one's convictions borne out by real-life circumstances, but Palin showed she's willing to live her beliefs.
Senator Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) offered an amendment to the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act (S. 3) stating, "It is the sense of the Senate that the decision of the Supreme Court in Roe v. Wade (410 U.S. 113 (1973)) was appropriate and secures an important constitutional right; and such decision should not be overturned."She was one of nine republicans voting FOR that amendment. She agrees that there is a Federal Constitutional RIGHT to an Abortion. How does she reconcile that with being pro-life???
“KBH is Pro-CHOICE, she is PRO-CHOICE She is PRO-CHOICE!”
You mean she’s PRO-ABORTION, PRO-ABORTION.
I’m PRO-LIFE, PRO-LIFE
They’re never given a “choice.”
But we all know what MeCain thinks of real Conservatives.
KBH is a MeCain Republican, not a Conservative.
to clarify, her name is Hutchison, not Hutchinson.
KBH is a RINO. She is in the pocket of big airlines (read American Airlines) to the BIG detriment of her voters.
She recently pushed through a restriction on flights from Love Field in Dallas whereby Southwest Airlines has to wait 8 years to fully open up flights all over the country from Love. The agreement called for REDUCING gates to restrict competition, which of course drives up prices for the little people. It also called for tearing down a new terminal so another airline could not use it. Further, the agreement calls for area cities to oppose new airports that would compete with Love. Thanks Kay Bailey.
Second, she is now involved in trying to prevent the US Govt from auctioning off slots at NY airports. Government officials say the plan will allow market forces to reduce inefficiencies and make air travel more reliable. She is joined in this effort by fellow democrats Chucky Schumer (D-NY) and Patty Murray (D-Wash).
American Airlines and Continental Airlines are some of the biggest carriers at these airports. Employees and officials of both carriers are or have been contributors to Hutchison.
Thanks again, Kay Bailey. You forget that you work for the voters, not the airlines.
Thanks for posting this. Hubby and I were discussing it just the other night. He was skeptical when I said KBH was pro-choice, couldn’t believe a Texas Republican could be anything but pro-life.
Southwest Airlines can have all the gates it wants at DFW airport, to fly to anywhere it wants. Oh, that’s right... they want to lock in their near monopoly at Love Field and not have to do battle with the big boys on a level playing field...
She’s also pro-scamnesty. Flush her.
“Ive never understood the appeal of this ding-dong anyways.”
Pork.
“Kay Bailey Hutchison on Immigration”
But she also slipped language into a bill a few months back that removed the requirement that a fence be built along the border:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1953412/posts
While watching the amnesty debate last summer, I often had the feeling that she wanted to bolt and join the pro-amnesty senators.
She’s very shaky on strict immigration enforcement.
Sad that she is a Republican and judges this way.
Kay believes in a woman’s right to choose.
She openly favors abortion rights.
She believes that Roe was rightly decided.
She believes the Constitution guarantees a woman’s right to have an abortion.
Kay Bailey Hutchinson is Pro-Choice, and OPENLY so.
My tagline most definately applies here, I did not previously know this about Kay. Very disappointing.
The only way the states get to decide is if the POTUS nominates judges that will eventually overturn Roe.
Quite often when a POTUS is done serving due to death or term limit, the Vice President is the front runner for the job.
What kind of judges do you, as a pro-life conservative trust KBH, a pro-baby-murder politician, to nominate?
