LAUREL, Miss. (AP) - A day after the largest single-workplace immigration raid in U.S. history, Elizabeth Alegria was too scared to send her son to school and worried about when she'd see her husband again.
Nearly 600 immigrants suspected of being in the country illegally were detained, creating panic among dozens of families in this small southern Mississippi town.

what a bunch of cr@p. The government is finally waking up...must be some polls that show voters are getting sick and tired of the BS that is our immigration policy.
of course the way they did it in San Antonio, was for the boss or the subcontractor to call immigration on the afternoon before payday. That way no money goes out and they get a full weeks worth of work for free.

And here we go with the usual slant towards the “poor mistreated (illegal) immigrants”-—what about the poor victims of the identity theft, who may be still dealing with the repercussions? And if it involves the IRS, they are absolutely screwed. I wish just once they would point out that aspect of the story.

My local paper...Chattanooga Times Free Press... is a combination of a conservative mormoing paper The Chattanooga Times and a liberal afternoon paper, The Chattanooga Free Press...
There’s even TWO pages of editorials, one conservative, one liberal...McCain on one page, the other, Obama...
But it is gradually tipping left...
Since 2006 and the illegal alien riots in our streets, the paper has had sob story after sob story...
I complain about the headlines...usually just “immigrants, immigration” but I’m told they have to follow the AP guidelines...
Oh, yeah......
Since the Pilgrims Pride arrests in Chatt by ICE, the articles have been syrup...
One Sunday there were about SIX different sob stories..

And not one about Jamiel Shaw or the Bolognas...
Illegal aliens(not immigrants)are criminals, if they resent being treated like criminals then they should stay home and not come here illegally. They have not only broken immigration laws but have most likely committed ID fraud in order to get the job and that is a felony offense.

8 Million cases of identity theft a year and a good chunk of them are committed by illegals working (but not having any taxes withheld thanks to the 14 "exemptions" they put down) or buying that new, flashy, uninsured, unregistered SUV.
Strange how I'm a Federal Law Enforcement Officer and the illegal down the street has a much nicer vehicle than I do. Guess it's 'cause I waste all that money in car/health insurance, taxes, etc.
