“Right now, as this Obama bubble continues to swell, I’m glad that I have a very well-armed ICE agent for a neighbor, just in case... “

Where do you live? In my neighborhood the ICE agent would be considered lightly armed.

Coupled with the responses to their teams winning, The Watts, Seattle (I was there) and Cincinnati responses, this is a VERY real possibility for which we should at least be prepared, emotionally and intellectually at the least.

Rather than being intellectually and emotionally prepared, I have this Beretta A302 that I don't know much about. How do I remove the plug?

I’ve been reading this story for 40 years.

The names change. The numbers change. The locations change.

But it’s the same story.

The Buckhead area has been the night life spot north of the central city but it too now is being engulfed by black crime, murder, smash and grab “blue jean” bandits and no doubt will eventually destroy that area too. <>/i>

The joys of "public transportation."

This has me greatly concerned as it's become a problem in my city and they are threatening to come into our other neighborhoods now, all kinds of rioting and civil disturbance we never had before. I've always tried to get along with them, but there is a hatred now; my black friend admits it (not that she hates me). I do not believe they are all out to get us, but I understand the dynamics when there might be a critical mass or some precipitous event, there might be some who could go either way. I do believe there are some who would not go violent except in self defense, of course, don't know who and where they are, well my neighbor, I would trust him, a nice guy, very helpful to me one winter.

I don't want to say any more about it but am considering my options and have thought about a breakdown in society for years what could happen.

I refuse to believe it has always been like this; something has happened in the last 30 years building up to all the hatred and resentment; they've been agitated.

In the event of an Obama loss in November, I already have plans to (at least temporarily) get my 87 yr old mother and disabled sister out of their homes in south St Louis. The city in which I was born and raised recently became the nations “most dangerous city”, taking the title from Detroit. I support McCain and pray that I am wrong about violence in the cities if he wins.

Well, I DO have my SKS and 1,000 rounds. I was thinking of being emotionally prepared to actually use it.

I’m quite serious.

here is the problem

Where I live there are many white yuppie elitist liberals moving in the center of town as they want to be in the middle of everything

Now what is happening is that prices have gone really high thus now forcing many blacks out to the burbs..

Now I live in the burbs and have seen blacks moving in , not many but they have been having parties , bringing friends in the area etc

For the last year since they started moving in the house has gone up , we have seen graffiti suddenly happen, the houses where they live have been neglected, groups of guys now hang around their front porches shouting at women on a walk etc

The crime rate has gone up and now we cannot leave our cars or humes unlocked as houses have now been getting broken into

So what we have is the liberals who say they love diversity have forced blacks out and forced them out on where we live thus we now have crime happening here and crime in the town center has gone down

coincidence , not

When this was pointed out to a tourist she called me racist

Here lies the problem say anything you are branded a racist when all you are doing is showing them facts and stats

The times are drastically different, as is the which this situation exists. The “character” of the US is substantially lower than it was 40 years ago. An example would be the percent of children born “without fathers” compared to 40 years ago.

IOW, the story is NOT the same.

“I support McCain and pray that I am wrong about violence in the cities if he wins.”

You might also see violence in some cities if Obama wins. Victory celebrations have turned violent and destructive in Chicago for NBA championships, and I believe there was a riot after Dallas’ last Super Bowl win, and in other cities. There could be violence after either outcome.

yep...my father and grandfather both before they died expressed hesitation over having once been ardent supporters of the black movement 40-50 years ago.,

I have seen my own enthusiasm wane as well. I can’t think otherwise seeing what I’ve seen for 50 years and how it’s turned out.

Things are not better. They are far worse...for everyone.

That said....I have not one answer other that it is not the white man’s responsibility for either blacks failures or success. It is up to them.

Now Obama, most blacks and a lot of guilty whites including some on this board are still exploiting this for every last drop.

They judge everything thru the lens of race.

If this sort of thing persists in a neigborhood, what you will eventually see is Vigilanteism. People in masks will burn down the “problem” houses.

People in “poor” neighborhoods do not have the “guts” to do it. Middle class and, more precicely, upper middle class residents will take action on their own if the problem looks like it will get out of hand.

‘Course, we’re nowhere near that point yet, and may never get there. Just sayin’.

Your post sort of describes what may have been the beginning of the separation of the culture in the future world in the movie Freejack.

Yeah, I’m being silly, but there may be a thread of truth to the concept.

I have an associate who had to engage in a terminal bit of home defense. He was torn up for a good while. It is no joke.

Interesting take on the issue.

The State Department warns people of "color" to be very careful in Ukraine and especially not to go out at night alone.

I agree. I hit a pedestrian a couple of years ago and some people are amazed at my “lack of compassion”. I look at it like this: It was 100% his fault (it really was) and therefore whether I hit him or some other car hit him is completely irrelevant. It is as if he was killed in an accident on the other side of the planet. It is not my responsibility and therefore not my concern, any more than any other accident of its type is my concern.

To be honest, I have no idea whether the guy lived or died, but I suspect he is still alive.

Same with this sort of thing. A criminal, while participating in criminal activity with the goal of bringing harm to others, is 100% responsible for what happens to him, assuming that what is done to him is not done in malice.

All that said, I have NO idea what long term emotional impact it would have on me if I chose to actually pull the trigger and kill another man, even if in defense of my own property.

TO ALL:

“I am all in favor of deporting the illegals yesterday, but will tell you that, at least in New York and New Jersey, they represent an improvement over the ghettos of the native born.”

Indeed!

Same in Los Angeles.

The Mexicans are not yet paralyzed with political correctness.

They are still willing to call a spade a spade.

They are not into committing cultural suicide, just yet.

I’ve always gotten along with the Mexicans, they don’t generally hate whites.(of course many are white)

There’s just to many of them and they take our jobs — including jobs that black Americans could do.

I get along with and like most blacks, but I always have to be on guard for the predatory ones — so they know I’m ready to fight if necessary.

Unfortunately, predators don’t respect weak people.

I’m very aware of race when on the street.

Do you think blacks don’t care what color someone is?

Ever hear of black on black crime?

Most blacks would rather bump into a white man in a dark ally then a fellow black man.

Just the way it is.

Most black people are law abiding and don’t want to be judged by the actions of the predatory ones.

If they want to change the perception people have of them, then it’s up to blacks to clean up there own communities and not blame ‘whitey’ for everything.

Many black communities in Los Angeles are now doing just that.

I really don’t know if it’s happening fast enough.

Obama will not be good for race relations in America.

His catering to ‘guilty whites’ is the worst thing he could do toward advancing race relations.

Perpetuating a victim mentality in the black community is NOT helpful to black people — nor is it a sign of true love or understanding toward black people.

Making a scape goat out of someone — black, white red or yellow — solely on the basis of the collar of his/her skin is a terrible injustice.

It’s now open season on whites.

I won’t tolerate it.

I reject your premise that our problem is with the “underclass.”

Our problem is with the leftists. I’m talking about the leftists in government, in our schools and universities, on our county councils, in our businesses, in our everyday life.

The agitators, the leftist leaders who pull the strings while hiding behind skirts and closed shades and government titles and corporate boards, are leftists we need to be concerned about. Not the underclass.

The correct target are those employed by us in the federal government as bureaucrats, in politicians elected by voters and an unknown number of corporate fascists who dream of a seat on some nightmare totalitarian government council to rule over us.

That is our enemy and the ones who must be confronted.

This is not a new situation. Read our Declaration of Independence. We have arrived back to where we were in 1776. The Hussain mercenaries did not target us for death and slavery; the power behind them did.

That’s our target.
