Sis became a pediatritician while having and raising 4 children.
I became a computer systems engineer while raising two teen age sons on my own
Friends and family have gone back to school and worked full time jobs while having and raising children.
Palin's already proven she's got it together. She's the governor of Alaska. I've never heard any complaints.
Nothing wrong with a stay-at-home dad and breadwinner mom. But this infant is still nursing (or ought to be) and the VP job (not to mention the POTUS job, which the VP must be prepared to step into at any time without notice) are not flex-time jobs that allow for breast-feeding, breast milk-pumping, etc.
I think this was a really bad choice for many reasons, not least of which is her very limited experience. If she has enough experience to be qualified to be POTUS (as the VP must be), then objectively there’s no way to claim Obama doesn’t, and that could have been a very important McCain campaign theme.
The nice thing about Sarah Palin is that if she brings Trig to the debate, Joe Biden will have somebody he can talk to as an intellectual equal.
