I'm a regular blue collar guy, and I just donated a years pay to McCain/Palin. I was worried sick about the rumors that he would go to Lindsey Graham, Leiberman, etc. McCain wasn't my first choice, but he picked a conservative. She's pro-life, a life member of the NRA, a hunter, and she just worked to build a new gas pipeline. She has a son headed to Iraq. She's young but already has far more executive experience than Obama. I've never heard her say God-D**m America. To me, she seems to be the personification of a Obamas' "bitter Americans" clinging to God and guns. Obama brother earns $12 a year, living in that branch and mud hut. I decided to say thank you to McCain. I sent him twelve dollars. That is one years' salary for Obamas' brother. It's a small gesture and I hope someone notices an avalanche of twelve dollar donations to McCain. He is only allowed to fundraise under the rules for one more day. It was simple to do, and I can skip two cheeseburgers. In the box where they ask who referred me, I simply wrote "Obama's brother who lives on 12 dollars a year". I believe in punishing politicians when they do wrong. But when they do right, we need to express thanks and thereby, train them as to what we want more of. In my opinion, a gun-owning, pro-lifer, deserves McCain understanding that he pleased me. If you can, and you agree, send McCain a one time 12 dollar donation today and fill in who referred you. It will be noticed.
I finally made a rather sizable donation today. So far in this election cycle I’ve only donated to Fred Thompson in the primary a primary congressman and a local congressman for the general.. I was holding out to see who the VP choice was, and I am more than thrilled.
Yes, it is true, her son is headed for Iraq in Sept. If you are NOT doubting him then why ask? Her resume and life history are all over FR, it is simple to find out and why would DesertRhino lie about it?
Sorta reminds me of Two Buck Chuck. I’m in for $12.
Thanks for this. I am going to donate myself to him. I have been holding back, and I will be happy to donate now!!
You have to wonder how long it will be before somebody takes up an office collection for this dude and sends him the money thereby quintupling (or more) his yearly income.
And BO said some “brother’s keeper” nonsense in his speech last night according to Rush - LOL.
I've never actually given money to a political campaign before in my life, but I just dropped $200 in the McCain/Palin tip jar. He doesn't have a blessed prayer of winning my state of Maryland, but maybe it will fund an ad elsewhere that helps turn the tide just enough.
My *oh well I guess I'll vote for him anyway* enthusiasm grew a little today. "Against Obama/Biden" just edged over into "for McCain/Palin".
I bought a “Air Force Veteran For McCain” cap today. Got in through “Veterans For McCain” web-site.
I never thought I would contribute, but there you go.
my mom was asking me if there was an address to mail in her check, does anyone know?
Just put TWO years salary into the mcPALIN bucket...$25 with a note, “For Sarah from Baracks BRO!!”
LOL!
Best “newbie” post ever!
If you would prefer to contribute by check, please mail it to:

Newt G. is on Hannity as we speak...he stated that Gov. Palin has a son in the Army on his way to Iraq.
Same Here. $50.00 today, More to come as long as he continues on this course. Got tickets also to see them next Friday in Detroit area. By the way, the place to get the tickets was packed.
I think it’s an honest question. I didn’t know about her son either. Trust but verify.
I feel the same way you do.
In 2004 I volunteered for Bush in PA, I was fresh out of college and had no money to give. After McCain’s announcement today, I went right to his website and made my first ever monetary donation to a campaign. It wasn’t a lot, but he did well today in his decision and I support him.
First post?
For a RINO, ya done excellent. :)
Welcome!
Thank you.. I forwarding to my 77 year old mother, who will send in as much as she can.
Today was the first time I’ve ever donated money to a Presidential candidate, and I’ve been voting since 1980.
Very creative of you!
I am so excited about this campaign ticket,
that I also contributed to John McCain today.
Last night, I was so dispirited after listening to Obama assault our traditional values, American patriotism, and respect for the sanctity of life.
Fearful for this country and the future of our children, I turned in earnest to prayer.
McCain/Palin is not only a winning ticket, I believe history will reflect a turning point for this future of this country.
Welcome to FR — it is my hope that you continue to enjoy the company of conservatives, and even those who are not so much. ;-)
