She hunts! She fishes! She eats moose burgers!

Gov. Sarah Palin , who has more than a passing resemblance to Tina Fey, took on the kleptocracy of Alaskas Republican politics and won.
she ousted hated incumbent Frank Murkowski in a primary two years ago, and then promptly cleaned up his mess in Juneau, even selling his private jet on e-bay. Second, she rejected the bridge to nowhere, the famous earmark for a span from Ketchikan to an island of 50 people -
Palin eloped with her husband, Todd, a commercial fisherman, who later won the 2,000-mile Iron Dog snow machine (as snowmobiles are called in Alaska) race. She gave each of her five children names that sound like her state - Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper and Trig.....
As a University of Idaho graduate, a television sports reporter, a beauty queen who was Miss Wasilla and competed for Miss Alaska, Palin brings a bit of the Legally Blonde aspect to the race - you underestimate her at your peril......

Expect nothing less from the NYT pinkos. I never get past their by-line. Why bother?
I think this is an unexpectedly good write-up on Palin
I agree.
The fact they’re so bent out of shape makes this all the more delicious. They are forced to bash a successful, likable, popular woman. It doesn’t get much better than that.
NY Times: “underestimate her at your peril”
BWAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!
It’s very favorable.
BTW why no reference to the "HISTORIC" nature of this choice? The NYT always seems to be impressed with HISTORIC firsts, where gender & race are concerned.
Its a sophomoric hit piece, about the NYT's speed.
The Tina Fey comment is not a big deal, a lot of people here think Palin resembles Fey, and have also mentioned it a few times.
...a government of the people, for the people, and by the people.
Governor Palin IS undoubtedly, truly, one of the people.
Cmon, its meant to demean her. She's running for VP of the US fer cryin out loud.
Barbarians for Sarah Palin (front center)!
And the best part is that a woman on the ticket gives the pissed off Hillary Dems — at least those with functioning brains — ANOTHER reason to swing to the Pubbies.
Who in hell is Tina Fey?
-—What is it exactly that the vice president does every day? she asked in an interview on CNBC. A fair question, but one that also reinforces her inexperience.
Wow. Talk about taking a comment totally, utterly, and completely out of context. Her comment was sarcastic, comparing the relative duties between a governor and the VP and how a governor has much more ability to directly dictate public policy than the average VP.
Some comedienne.
That's because it doesn't really "entail" much of anything. Sounds like she'll do just fine.
Tip of the hat to McCain, he made a great pick. Ms. Palin will come under attack but she’ll hold her own. Suggest sending McCain campaign a few bucks.
“makes it hard for Republicans to criticize Barack Obama for his in inexperience”
but it hasn’t slowed the dems down any.
