Expect nothing less from the NYT pinkos. I never get past their by-line. Why bother?

Governor Palin IS undoubtedly, truly, one of the people.

-—What is it exactly that the vice president does every day? she asked in an interview on CNBC. A fair question, but one that also reinforces her inexperience.
Wow. Talk about taking a comment totally, utterly, and completely out of context. Her comment was sarcastic, comparing the relative duties between a governor and the VP and how a governor has much more ability to directly dictate public policy than the average VP.

"she seemed to have no idea what the job of vice president entails" That's because it doesn't really "entail" much of anything. Sounds like she'll do just fine.

Tip of the hat to McCain, he made a great pick. Ms. Palin will come under attack but she’ll hold her own. Suggest sending McCain campaign a few bucks.

She's a Walmart Mom. All the women who voted Bush last time and have been leaning towards Obama are now gonna stop in their tracks and say: "Gee - she's just like me! Big family, honest family values, has a special-needs baby", etc, etc I'm worried. Lisa
Comment seen at The Daily Kos. They are indeed worried.

Ms. Alaska
I suspect the propagandists (note: NOT "journalists") of
The Old Gray Lady didn't have the integrity to call Governor Palin
and ask if she preferred "Ms. Palin" or
Mrs. Palin.

I agree; this was an unusually mild hit from the NYT. It’s almost like they want to be harder on her, but grudgingly admit that she is pretty likable. It’s almost like the writers realize that their backhanded compliments are halfhearted and lame.

Palin brings a bit of the “Legally Blonde” aspect to the race -– you underestimate her at your peril... The author is correct.

rface: I am absolutely thrilled from head to toe with this VP pick! :)
I’m working on the McCain campaign here in Cow Town, Wisconsin, (phone banks, mailing literature, putting up yard signs, etc.) and stopped by HQs to hear the announcement this morning with other McCainiacs.
We were through the ROOF, cheering, jumping, screaming, when the announcement was made this morning.
Wa-Hoooooooooo!! I hope I get the chance to meet her and shake her hand. :)

Tim Egan is obviously a homosexual if he thinks Tina Fey, whose ugly goes straight to the bone, can in appearance compare to Palin. He has no clue about attractive women.
The effort to associate her with a left wing wacko is hysterical.

beauty queen who was Miss Wasilla and competed for Miss Alaska As I wrote in another thread, this calls for a new FR rule as a subsection to the Coulter and CZJ corollaries, every thread about Gov. Palin requires a swimsuit competition picture from that contest.
Who is with me on this??

I wonder if they have boyfriends!!! :-)
