Right you are, a great day for America and for those with our views. I couldn’t be happier if it was my own daughter. IOW’s I am very, very happy.
If it’s so risky and such a disaster, then why are they worried and going on and on about it? They should congratulate her, smile, and move on if that is how they truly feel, but it obviously isn’t.
They are so clearly worried and doing everything they can to define her and take away the sting.
Only on the VP pick?
Reference bump! ;-)
Could change history too, with no RAT prez. again for 40 years,.
Spittle is FLYING out of Chrissy Matthews!!! What an ANGRY ASS he is......he and Keithy must be in some HATE CONTEST!
Interesting that the party of Truman would be troubled over the selection of Sarah Palin.
She’s gonna go Miss Congeniality on him... ;-)
Yeah, they want to go with Portia de Rossi now...
Fichori, it is GREAT NEWS. I feel better already...
She has good executive experience for a President, as governor. That is the normal standard. I would say she has better experience than McCain. I consider executive experience more important than foreign policy experience. Foreign policy decisions require a lot of expert input from the military, CIA, and State Department. The President makes the final decision.
Let's consider some of our great Presidents’ experience. Washington—Military general. Executive experience. Jefferson—diplomatic experience, genius IQ. Lincoln—NO international experience, NO executive experience—just a lawyer and a legislator. Teddy Roosevelt—military, governor of NY, secretary of Navy (I think)—lots of executive experience, some international. Ronald Reagan—8 years as governor—that's it. No international experience. Who defeated the Ruskies in the cold war?
So two of our greatest five Presidents had no international experience. So why is that so important? I think character and actual accomplishment are more important. Sarah Palin has both in spades.
VERY interesting! With Hillary supporters lovin’ her, how can Obama win now?
I can’t help but think that God has raised her for a time like this!
Yesterday, one of the news folks or dem operatives said they were looking forward to some high-ranking journalism think tanks to review sexism in the news media, based on how Hillary was treated by the press during her run. I wonder if those calls for studies and investigations will now be tabled since Gov. Palin is on the ticket. Would be difficult for a study to condemn the media for Hillary’s treatment but excuse them for Gov. Palin’s.
Thanks for the link. First time I’ve ever donated to McCain. I hope there is a groundswell...
Awesome! Now please email all your friends and send them the link. If you used to be hesitant on McCain (and it sounds like from your comment you may have been) then your email asking them to donate is going to have ten times as much impact.
This ticket is the best hope pro-lifers have ever had ... and the contrast with Senator infanticide could not be more stark.
We CANNOT lose this one!
Obama in the spirit of his good bud Father Pfleger:
“Oh d*mn! Where did she come from?! I’m the Messiah, I’m entitled. There’s a Republican woman stealing my show! Weahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
More Sarah Palin facts:
You should post this on the thread concerning the stolen personal info on Gov Palin.
I really don’t think I’m racist, but I hope this isn’t the ‘change’ we’ve all been waiting for.
