Stay Classy Daily Kos: Accusations Palin 'Faked Her Pregnancy' of Down's Syndrome baby

Taking a look at the stories in the Old Media will show that the Media is turning attack dog ASAP on McCain's choice for vice president, Sarah Palin. Notice the main meme is her supposed "inexperience." Funny how Palin was the VP pick for about 15 seconds before the Old Media went after her "inexperience" while they have yet to hit Barry Obama on HIS inexperience at all and he's been running for president since 2004. We should also note that Palin didn't get the honeymoon that Biden got when his announcement was made. But, the worst is yet to come and the Daily Kos is doing its level best to mine the lowest of lows. In a Kos diary today, it is being alleged that Sarah Palin "faked" the pregnancy of her last child, a baby born with Down's Syndrome. The claim is that it was her teenaged daughter's child, not hers. And, true to form, the Kossacks took that absurd calumny and hate even further in the comments.

I can't be convinced that the American people are not smart enough to know the diff between good and evil. Well, we'll see. There's certainly enough evil being spread by the Left, as you point out.

Contrasts:

“The Palin family has made a very big mistake because they don’t appreciate the situation they are in. Pointing that out is hardly disrespectful.”

Again, you assume that two intelligent, experienced, caring, faith-based parents are incapeable of understanding the demands that the new baby will have on them. You are absolutely not being respectful to the Palin Family. Your thinking is very liberal-minded. How do YOU know what they do or do not appreciate? How do YOU know what that family can or can not handle? Each family is unique unto themselves. Each family has their own way of dealing with challenges. I have little doubt that the Palin Family is well aware of the take ahead of them as they raise that beautiful little baby. It it true that things maybe be harder for them with the baby than they can apreciate, but isn’t that part of life? Should the Palin Family stop living just because the youngest child has Downs? You would be better off praying for the Palin Family to give the strength as wisdom they’ll need to raise that child and to allow Sarah to serve her nation as Vice President.

I would never in a million years suggest to you that because your child has Downs you should do this, or not do that thing, or whatever. I have to trust, until proven wrong, that you love your child and will do whatever it takes to raise them to be as healthy and as happy as humanly possible.

I have to believe, until proven wrong, that Gov. Palin will be the great mother she already obvioiusly is to her children, and that her and her family will love that baby and help the beautiful soul grow up to be as healthy and as happy as possible. Yes, your experiences give you a unique perepective on what the Palin’s face, but they does not offer you the right to pass judgement on their family - like the freaks on the Kos do as a matter of routine.

I heard a coworker comment, "The fact that she has 5 kids tells me that womens' rights are going to be out the window."

It was a stunning comment. Apparently the abortion litmus test now means the candidate actually has to get an abortion before a liberal will vote for them. All those living children from one woman just drives the feminists batty.

Motherhood is still viewed like apple pie in the country

note: As of September 1,2008 motherhood will no longer be viewed like apple pie.

It is public knowledge that the girl had Mono. Why on earth would she enroll elsewhere when she would return to school once the mono had passed? If it is true, and she stayed with relatives, it was more likely than not it was her grandparents. Have you considered that Palin was in the last months of what is considered a risk pregnancy, and what getting the mono herself could cause?

This story is completely fabricated, developed in the little minds of these disturbed individuals. They really need to spend their time writing fiction/suspense or something, they are apparently quite good at it.

Gov. Palin, however, seems to have rejected this gift of God in pursuit of her own ego. She’s no example of family values so far as I can see if her brand of Christianity tells her that what she is doing is right, then it is profoundly different from mine!

So...I guess you quit your job and got on welfare just so you could stay home and take care of your Downs Syndrome child? If not, I guess you rejected your "gift" too! Her husband is a stay at home Dad, so their child is not rejected! What's the difference which parent is the stay at home parent to this precious child?

I would bet dollars to donuts that the womyn who posted this fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

As for the rest of them, I bring back the old quote:

“Some people are alive simply because it is illegal to kill them.”

These guys are below reptiles!

I would describe them as worms but that would provide them with the undue stature of vertibrates.

They may be up to the dignity of intestinal flora but only just barely.

They believe that GOD is the head of the country, Jesus is the head of the church, the husband is the head of the family. PERIOD.

Hysterical! the poster is, and her points are hystercally funny! God does have his will, they can deny it all they want. While Christians take comfort in that (and rightly so) the anti Christian fears it. Could be they know the truth and do not want to face their own reality.

Jesus is the head of the Church, so why does this scare these people?

Ohhhhhhhhh noooooooo husband head of the family? And here I thought the family pet was. (Thank you Dear Lord, for the fact that my Dad is the head of our family)

Thanks for the link. It seems we were both right. It was the time that Edwards brought it up that I saw.

It was the second time Mary Cheney's sexuality had come up during the debates. In the vice presidential debate last week, Democratic Sen. John Edwards also brought up the vice president's daughter.

I was pregnant with our son when I was in my late thirties. At the time my doctors showed me statistics about the chances of giving birth to a Down’s child. It appears that the incidence of Down’s syndrome is 1 in 39 as the mother approaches her forties. That’s a lot of kids! They urged me to have an early amniocentesis—not so I could abort the baby, but so that my husband and I could make financial plans.

I naturally asked why, if the rate of Down’s Syndrome was so high in this age cohort, did we not see more children with this syndrome? Because I knew a LOT of 40+ mothers who had babies. The OB shook his head and said, “You never see all the kids who are aborted. You never even knew the mothers were pregnant. But we see a great deal of this.”

The interesting point about Sarah Palin’s character is that she was not ambushed by the birth of a Down’s Syndrome child. She and her husband knew about this in advance and went to term with the pregnancy.

God bless the women who do carry their children to term and give them life. Like the lady who lives up the street from me, a fine Catholic woman, and all the other loving moms who make this sacrifice.

I have a bit of a different take on them picking up this theory...

I think that because they are so rabidly pro-infanticide, they need something, anything, to keep them out of the debate about her decision to give birth to her child. The idea that she gave birth to a downs syndrome child shows she has the love, selflessness, and compassion to care for her child despite the odds, the personal inconvenience, the hardship, the costs, and the challenges, and clearly shows that anyone who would destroy that life for convenience shows how much compassion they are lacking.

Her mere appearance on the platform, with her life story, is a cry that the pro-abort emporer is naked.

Their entire pro-abort platform is about the convenience of the mother’s life and Palin’s decision is, on a national level, in the face of all of their futile cries and shows them for the demon inspired lost souls they are.

It is required for the pro-infanticide eftists to attack this child and mother to rationalize the murder in their own hearts. They HAVE to rationalize the lies within themselves...almost a case of projection. It is required that they continue this type of fight. They must change the terms of the debate so that the light does not show on the truth of their lies.

The Palin family needs lots of prayers for the onslaught of cruelty that is and will continue to be incoming in the future. For she lives what they cannot stand and her testimony is truth in the face of their lies.

The show has only just begun.

Prayers up for the Palin family.
