Taking a look at the stories in the Old Media will show that the Media is turning attack dog ASAP on McCain's choice for vice president, Sarah Palin. Notice the main meme is her supposed "inexperience." Funny how Palin was the VP pick for about 15 seconds before the Old Media went after her "inexperience" while they have yet to hit Barry Obama on HIS inexperience at all and he's been running for president since 2004. We should also note that Palin didn't get the honeymoon that Biden got when his announcement was made. But, the worst is yet to come and the Daily Kos is doing its level best to mine the lowest of lows. In a Kos diary today, it is being alleged that Sarah Palin "faked" the pregnancy of her last child, a baby born with Down's Syndrome. The claim is that it was her teenaged daughter's child, not hers. And, true to form, the Kossacks took that absurd calumny and hate even further in the comments.

The VP and family live in a very nice house in Washington DC close to the WH. I’m sure Trig will be with his mom alot. Also I think in Alaska she took her children to the office with her. Besides he has a very devoted father. He will be very well taken care of. How do other politicians handle children while in office?

Her husband and daughters do much of the child care I believe. I wouldn’t be surprised if they bring in a fulltime nanny if they don’t have one already. It’s not the best situation, but it can be managed. Also, I think it is clear that she will be running everywhere the next two months, but after the election (and a McCain vistory I hope) she will settle down, travel much, much less and probably focus on getting major reforms through the Senate. McCain and his staff must have realized all of these considerations ahead of time of course, so I think looked at her natural limitation (her child’s needs) as something they could work around. At the same time, knowing the child’s needs means they must be envisioning more of a “stay in Washington” VP career for Palin.

It will be busy and tough and require sacrifice on the part of the whole family, but this can be done and done well.

I haven’t walked a mile in your shoes, however.

I’m just waiting for the Democrat rhetoric to go from “She shouldn’t be running if she has that baby to take care of,” to “She should have had an abortion.”

It’s not a mental illness. If it were we could all just roll our eyes and shake our heads. But this is a calculated mean, bitter attack by very hateful people. Such is the core of the ‘Rat party.

IMHO is bears every sign of being a severe mental illness...only troubled individuals resort to this type of attack. It's simply because they know that they're ideas are absolutely flawed and they think they can win the argument just by screaming louder than the other person. Read the People Magazine article posted late last night with the Palin’s. Even the People reporter knew details of her pregnancy when asking questions. She asks Sarah “I know you found out in Decemember of last year during an amniocentesis that you were having a downs syndrome baby. How did knowing that far in advance allow you to prepare....”
