Ah, I think I beat you on the checkmate call, from yesterday morning. ;) I believe you without going back and looking. Just the fact that you are using a tag line like another I'm adopting is proof enough.
Great minds think alike.
How do you like this tag line? (I hope I'm the first with something anyway.)

The cool thing is that she will also be the the position to influence him, based on her true conservative values - sort of keep him on track! She clearly is a person that will readily express what’s on her mind.
Besides, this selection adds so much more the the entertainment factor until November! Junk Yard Dog Biden will have an interesting debate to face with Palin.

Please do not refer to a woman as a chickGood point.
I was wondering, at what age does a woman stop being a "chick" and become a "babe"? I'm thinking somewhere around 20.
Or is it determined by her state in life? For instance, if she's still dependent, say, going to college or living at home with her parents, she's a "chick", as in "I met this chick in my physics class." If she is out in the world supporting herself, she's a "babe", as in "My supervisor at Intel is a babe."

My wife was luke-warm to McCain as well, but is now looking forward to voting for McCain/Palin.
I think this may have been a brillant move on McCain’s part.

I prefer to call people by their name.....Well, I'm not as sensitive as all that. As a matter of fact, I never tire of being referred to as a "hunk". As long as the babes don't get too fresh with me. (I AM taken.)

My Mom was a Hillary supporter. She was shocked at Palins selection, and then started reading about her and watching her, and now shes voting for McCain! My wife has been indifferent, and now shes settled on McCain/Palin also. Its over.
My wife was on the fence. Last night she was really intrigued by the Palin selection, but wanted to know more.
This morning she saw that idiot GMA weekend anchorguy go off on the McCain spokesman over Palin's ability to juggle campaigning and being Veep with having a special needs child. She absolutely lost it, practically yelling "THEY WOULDN'T ASK A MAN THAT!!!". She's now firmly in the McCain/Palin camp. Did I mention that we live in Virginia?
The ONLY smart Dem on this selection has been Hillary! Who congratulated Palin on her selection, and noted the historic nature of the selection while politely/graciously pointing out that there would be policy differences. The Obama-Biden campaign blew it, with Obama having to personally retract the initial comments that came out of his War Room. The nutroots and MSM are COMPLETELY blowing it with their reaction, which is going to drive GenX and trailing-edge Boomer working Moms right into supporting McCain-Palin.

This is fantastic. All the Democrats can do not is shut up. Anything they say about Palin will work against them. What a week! The boring donk convention with AgustusObama accepting his nomination, then the next day all anyone can talk about is Palin. I haven't been this happy to be a conservative in 6 years.

I haven't been this happy to be a conservative in 6 years. Copy that. The few glimmers of happiness for me have been Roberts, Alito and the Supreme Court support of the Second Amendment.
