Ace of Spades has been using a great investigative tool for any blogger–Sitemeter. What brings visitors to your site? Right now it’s people searching for pictures of Sarah Palin in a bathing suit. Not just pathetic horndogs, that is…these are liberals who think that finding such shocking evidence of sinful depravity will galvanize social conservatives against her.

Thing is, it’s happened before–to Michelle. Those of you who have followed this site for a while might remember when Gawker came up with some inept photoshops of Michelle in a bikini and ran them, to cheers from Michelle’s critics who believed this proved she was a big stinkin’ hypocrite.

Why? Even if the picture weren’t a fake cobbled together from a private picture of a college student that someone ripped off the web, would that have proven hypocrisy? SHOCKER: CONSERVATIVE COLUMNIST DOES NOT SWIM IN A BURQINI.

Well, they thought–they hoped–that those fake photos of Michelle would somehow undermine her credibility with conservatives.

They don’t know us very well, do they? Even religious conservatives who emphasize modesty aren’t going to be wagging their finger and snarling “SINNER!” at someone who was once in a beauty contest or got her picture taken in a swimsuit. So once again, this is about to fall flat, like Brick Tamlin’s attempt to belittle his opponents’ sartorial taste:

Dems will try to do two things by the “October Surprise” deadline:

1) They will try to “unearth” pics of Sarah is provocative poses (a la Vanessa Williams in 1984), so that way they can try to ‘depose’ her of her ‘throne’.

2) They will try to make up documents of some sort (a la Mary Mapes-Dan Rather-National Guard fraud of 2004) which may state that Sarah has engaged in ‘nebulous’ (sp?) drug dealings and/or that she may have had an abortion in her teenage or college years.

These are all scenarios made up by me (I haven’t heard this anywhere else) which the MSM and Dems, in an act of unprecedented desperation, will ‘bring to the light’ by the time October rolls around.

My uncle, a 60-something smart man, and I were discussing Sarah. He said “She looks like a woman should look!” I said “ya, she looks like she's comfortable being a woman. Hair, a DRESS, make-up, none of it overdone”. Then he said “Hillary looks like....” and he stopped. I laughed and said “Hillary looks like she's married to Bill Clinton! Argh! The agony!” He laughed so hard we almost had to hang up!

To be fair, when this uncle heard about Sarah, he told me to call Alaska and see what they thought of their governor. Then he got online and found out where Sarah stands on everything that's important to him. He's very impressed.

(And I did call Alaska and they like her just fine! “Alaska” is family shorthand for our kids who live there. The kids said Wasilla was just afire over it!)
