Classless Alan Colmes: OMG, the Palins Eloped!
http://newsbusters.org/blogs/tom-blumer/2008/08/31/classless-alan-colmes-omg-palins-eloped#new ^

Alan Colmes has been on a downward spiral for the ages since John McCain introduced Sarah Palin as his presumptive Vice-Presidential nominee.

Fellow NewsBuster Warner Todd Huston caught Colmes scraping bottom at his Liberaland web site last night, as the lefty talker and Sean Hannity piñata asked "Did Palin Take Proper Pre-Natal Care?" in connection with Palin's pregnancy and childbirth earlier this year. Trig Palin was born with Down's Syndrome on April 18.

whiff of sanity appears to have prevailed, as the entry is now empty. Also not present: an apology. (Update, 3:30 p.m. -- Here's Colmes's "apology." You can decide whether it's adequate or simply blame-shifting.)

But apparently Colmes has no problem with this entry he put up on Friday afternoon about the circumstances surrounding Todd and Sarah Palin's wedding (full entry follows; links were in original):

“We are ashamed to call him part of the Jewish community.”

No need to feel ashamed, he’s only a JINO.

They’ve been married 20 years, right?
And their oldest son is how old?

You've GOT to see this graphic!

Renfield came up with the quote and Sourcery did the graphic. I LOVE IT!

Enough people need to raise the roof at FOX until Colmes is fired. I am sick of him thinking he can say anything and get away with it.

Alan Colmes is a worthless pile of excrement. Period.

However, the last time I checked, this was still America, and he has the right to "say anything and get away with it". I don't wanna be the speech police, the thought police, or any other kinda police. Let the dufus talk. It is like using a "straight thumbs" grip while firing a revolver (OUCH!, DAMN!)...it is a self correcting problem. These morons will pay a price for their hatefulness towards Gov. Palin, but just like with Imus, I don't want their freedom to say stupid stuff infringed.

By all means, I believe we should make our feelings known to FOX SNOOZE, but I want them to make the decision to fire his stupid ass all by themselves.

I’m with you. What are the addresses to use?

Plus, this question: what does St. Bill O’Reilly, who likes to trash FR to show how fair he is, think of his colleague’s comments? Will he have the guts that Sarah Palin would have to demand that Colmes be fired for this despicable trash?

As I have stated on other threads, even if true, who cares!

In fact, if true, I'd love to see Sarah stand up with an evil grin on her face and admit it.

Love young (or lust) is seldom denied and since they married and obviously did well for the first as well as all their other offspring, it's nobody's business but theirs.

On the other thread there were several FReepers who admit to the same er... indiscretion. I am sure they were properly admonished by their pastor and are good with the Lord now.

Cool. Please do something to make the text stand out better — the obama wants to kill babies and raise taxes slogan bleeds into the background.

An awesome billboard!

I could care less if she was pregnant when she got married or not

Me neither, not an issue. Were that all families appeared that happy together. That is what counts. Could have just as easily been me (and a whole lot of others) :-). Just didn't happen that way, so what?

" I think they see the groundswell of support for this hot outsider that electrifies the GOP base and because of her age could be the female Reagan for the 21st century."

I think you've hit the nail on the head. - By picking Palin, McCain has captured the White House for the next 16 years. It is theirs to lose, but the wackos are out of the election at this point.

I don’t watch the hannity and colmes show no more because of Colmes though hannity is starting to do my head in.
Never hear much about homosexual marriage from him.

Colmes has been delusional for a long time now
I used to sit there watching him and say to my wife surely he cannot believe that, surely he must be saying it for the show.

The obvious facts are in front of him and yet he clearly ignores them.

now they used to have a woman kristin or something in his place maybe they should hire her full time and get rid of colmes

To elope is to run away and get married. These two had a quiet marriage at the town office. Many people do.

I’ll supply the popcorn for us. And to be humane, the bandages Alan will need after Gov. Palin’s husband shows him what real men do to pond scum who insult their wives like that.

Perhaps Colmes should talk to there women.

Wonder what they would say to Alan.

Famous Older Moms Compiled by Monica Hesse, September & October 2005

Having children later in life is a popular choice for celebrities, whose fast-paced careers often make starting a family in their 20s or 30s difficult. Here’s what some famous older moms have said about the ups and downs of motherhood

Kay Bailey Hutchison, 62 Senior senator from Texas and mother of Bailey, 4, and Houston, 3 "Our children are beautiful beyond belief, except for a few occasions at 3:30 a.m."

Sharon Stone, 47 Mother of Roan, 5, and Laird, 5 months "I have more support and love and kindness than at any other time in my life."

Diane Keaton, 59 Mother of Dexter, 9, and Duke, 4 "Afternoons, I pick up the kids and run around like a chicken with its head cut off. I collapse at 9 p.m. I’m like a farmer woman."

Joan Lunden, 55 Mother of Jamie, 24, Lindsay, 22, Sarah, 17, twins Max and Kate, 2, and twins Jack and Kimberly, 7 months "The best way to approach bathing, feeding, and dressing the younger ones is like an assembly line."

Cheryl Tiegs, 58 Mother of Zack, 14, and twins Jaden and Theo, 5 "I can’t say that all women should become mothers after 50; yet for me, it’s great."

Susan Sarandon, 59 Mother of Eva, 20, Jack Henry, 16, and Miles, 13 "I had my kids late. I didn’t think I could have them and I didn’t expect to have them. But they are my best work."

Deidre Hall, 57 Mother of David, 13, and Tully, 10 "I hope to teach my sons inner strength and empathy, and a deep love and loyalty to each other

The eloped because they had a poor year fishing and didn’t have any money for an elaborate wedding.

Colmes is suggesting Palin was pregnant with her first child before she was married.

Cool!

By my math, Obama's mother Stanley Ann had a coming-out fling with Obama Sr. on her 18th birthday (Nov 29, 1960) during her first year in college away from home, resulting in little Barack Jr. nine months later on Aug 4, 1961.

Was Ann seduced by Obama Sr on her birthday? Was she looking to "lose it" on her 18th birthday, now that she was a college girl? Are these the kinds of speculations that Alan Colmes would be interested in pursuing?
