In fact she really may be resentful about it, thinking it hurt her campaign with Blacks when she needed them most to fend off Obama.
Do not agree. As long as they are married they cannot be compelled to testify against each other. And, as a Former President & US Senator package, they command much higher graft and enjoy de facto immunity from prosecution.
Finally, none of the constraints of a real marriage affect them anyway. So it is in their best interests to maintain the legal fiction of a union.
