Friday the AP had pictures posted with captions that described Alaska as a “tiny” state. What, tiny as in Delaware tiny?

Wonder if it as large in square miles as Texas.

Larger, by a long, long ways.More than twice the size.

It’s larger than Texas. Twice it’s size. Larger than any European Country. Larger than any 5 European Countries. Some 560 or so thousand square miles, IIRC.

Gov. Plain should use some of this info as a visual. Over 8000 miles in boundry length, and over 6000 miles of coastline.
