Palin's Pregnancy Problem

My first reaction was shock. Then anger. John McCain chose a running mate simply because she is a woman and one who appealed to the Republican's conservative evangelical base. Now, with news that Palin's 17-year-old unmarried daughter is pregnant, McCain's pick may not even find support among "family values" voters...This may be a hard one for the Republican conservative family-values crowd to swallow. Of course, this can happen in any family. But it must certainly raise the question among the evangelical base about whether Sarah Palin has been enough of a hands-on mother.

since you may have access to information (being catty, honestly) ... was Quinn married when she got pregnant with this one child? Did the father of the child stick around? Were Quinn’s parents and the father’s parents supportive? etc etc.

Hummm, let me think...is it easier to get God's forgiveness for getting pregnant out of wedlock, or, just shoving a pair of scissors into the baby's skull as it's being born. I've noticed the Ten Commandments saying, "Thou Shalt Not Kill"...but I never saw that one about "Thou Shalt Not Get Pregnant".
Thanks God. I wasn't sure how to interpret that situation.

This is extremely unfortunate reporting and unlikely to go away before Election Day. Obama's campaign is not as incompetent as Gore's or Kerry's.
Between Obama's campaign, the DNC, most of the mainstream media, and the radical fringe groups, we will be seeing daily doses of this nonsense all the way up to November 4.
Not much has to stick to leave an impression on the independent voters who will decide this election.

I so feel for this girl. I got pregnant when I was 16 and agonized over telling my parents. When I did tell them, that night I woke up in a pool of blood. I had to go have a D&C because I was having a miscarriage. This was the worst time of my life. I am 40 and do not have any children. I always wonder if that is because of the guilt I feel about my first pregnancy. I do not have any problems according to the OB/GYN. My heart goes out to this family and the brave choice!

I hesitate to direct you to digg.com but the mass psychosis on there is frightening but enlightening.
These are the dorm-room web tyrants who want a link to confirm the sun will rise tomorrow but they will believe anything and everything about SP and family because.....well just because. That and she threatens the Obama coronation.

Sally Quinn is almost certainly the dumbest person in Washington, which is no small feat.

Is this the same Sally Quinn that is the "Grand Dame" of Washington Democrat social circles? The same Sally Quinn that can't stand the Clinton's, and never invited them to any of her parties?

Most “journalists” are dolts who rely on caricatures in their reporting.
As for this ‘report’, it looks a lot like wishful thinking.

As a Christian, I can say “this is not the way, but if something like a pregnancy happens, I should not judge that person. I should continue to accept them and love them. I hope that others like me agree. I will still vote for the McCain/Palin ticket.
To: Mr Rogers
Actually, Sarah Palin doesn’t have a pregnancy problem, her daughter does.
And I really don’t think her daughter has a preggers problem as the family has banded together to stand with her and guid her and help her - whats the problem??

I liked it when Fred Barnes said<, “We believe...” It just made his statement all the more powerful. I can’t remember his exact words, though. It was something about believing in the forgiving power of Jesus Christ.

We had a little family dinner here and my son-in-law(one of the save the planet before we kill it crowd) came running out to the patio all giggly announcing that McCain's running mate is really going to kill any chance McCain had of getting elected what with Palins daughter being 5(I thought 3, but what do i know) months pregnant. My daughter said........He only picked her to get votes( and she's a graduate of U.T.) I guess the gal should have had an abortion and McCain should have picked someone who wouldn't give him any votes in November. I keep asking myself why didn't I buy that property in Switzerland back in the 60sSorry, you get no sympathy from me. You sent her to t.u., you get what you deserve.... ;>)

While we are talking health, BHO is a black, mid-forties, male, who is in a high stress occupation and smokes. Exactly what kind of a cardiac health picture is that?

I send this Obama media whore a comment that she will be talking about for days ! Feel free to take a swiped at this disgusting Obama media whore but keep it clean .

about whether Sarah Palin has been enough of a hands-on mother. Another sexist attack. Can you imagine any reporter questioning whether a MALE candidate had been enough of a "hands-on" father?
