"If McCain wins, look for a full-fledged race and class war, fueled by a deflated and depressed country, soaring crime, homelessness - and hopelessness!"

I thought the other Daily News OpEd today blaming the hurricane on Republicans was bad but this is truly unbelievable. This is the most race-bating and intellectually dishonest piece of journalism I've ever read. The Philadelphia Daily News should be thoroughly embarrassed. I'm sure it isn't. I've forwarded this threatening article to Drudge Report. The fact she threatens a "full-fledged race & class war" if McCain wins is a violation of the public trust. The Daily News has always been somewhat of an journalistic embarrassment, now it needs to be exposed for encouraging race riots. Shame on you.

We already know Muslims prefer Obama.

Oh yeah, that does it for me, if it wasn't from Philly, I would be surprised, does she work for the Tehran Daily News?

Perhaps she worked her way up in the Farrakhan News Service?

What bothers me is this quote:""If McCain wins, look for a full-fledged race and class war,..."

Sounds like a threat rather than a prediction.

The left will try to blackmail the public about such things, look at the anarchist nuts in St. Paul.(somebody should check their IDs, I have a feeling many of them come from other countries where anarchists are "acceptable" and even trained (Putin, are you reading this?)

It's going to be an interesting 2 months...

Sounds like a threat to me. These people are despicable.

So there is no longer any doubt as to who the racists of this country are. Thank you Fatimah for this brilliant piece of self-disclosure. I hope you are given a forum for your comments every day.

Wow...ignorance combined with arrogance and race-baiting all in one neat package of Fatimah Ali! On the anniversary night of MLK's "I Have a Dream" speech we are treated to the rhetoric of a man that the media wants us to accept without a complete vetting. You want us to accept Barack Hussein Obama based on the color of his skin rather than on the content of his (deeply flawed) character.

How about we consider voting Principles over Pigment?!

I always like a little humor with my morning coffee. Today, this article filled the bill.

Go back to it and read the comments. NOT friendly to the author.

When lifelong Republican Barney Smith told the Democratic convention that he'd vote for Barack Obama for president, he gave pause to even the most conservative members of his party.

Uh huh.

http://www.prospergroupthink.com/2008/09/democrats-use-a.html

Democrats use a fake Republican from Grant County to introduce Barack Obama

You may remember Barney Smith from Fairmount, Indiana. He spoke at the Democrat National Convention Thursday night and was one of the people who introduced Barack Obama. He will be remembered for the line "I want a president who cares more about Barney Smith than they do about Smith Barney." A great well-written line that many people remember.

On Thursday night in Denver, when he introduced Barack Obama, he claimed to be a "lifelong" Republican. But it looks like the Democrats lied about his affiliation, or at minimum never took the time to check him out.
