Just thought I would wake up the trolls with the truth behind "troopergate" again in PDF form!
Between threatening to put a bullet into her Palin's Father, calling Bristol Palin vulgar names in public, stalking Governor Palin, tasering his 10 year old son, I just wonder how much rope the left is willing to give this state trooper?
The document is 12 pages or so but worth reading. There is an amazing story here and it is not a negative for Palin!
Let’s get this right from the first.
1. “Ossifer-Not-So-Friendly” threatens to shoot the Governor’s father if the father gets a lawyer to represent his own daughter in a divorce.
2. Said “Thug-In-A-Uniform” disgraces that uniform when he uses his own Taser to ZOT his own 10 year old boy.
3. The “Dick Tracey” wannabe hones his sleuthing skills by stalking the Governor.
The above acts should have resulted in:
1. A ‘time out’ in a rubber room, supervised by those nice folks in their “clean white coats”, followed by a trial for a number of violations of the criminal code of Alaska.
2. Mr. “Thug-In-A-Uniform” should have lost custody of his 10 year old until it was ascertained beyond reasonable doubt that he had recovered sufficient self control to once again be able to carry out his responsibilities as a father.
3. A court ordered dose of smart pills might help. Stalking anyone is not wise. Stalking a Governor indicated his Mama should be notified he has left home without her.
Unfortunately, America’s police departments have all too many like this officer. Even more unfortunate is the lamentable fact that in many police departments, the TopCop believes that his first duty is to protect his officers, not the public.
From the above mentioned perversion of traditional American police management philosophy, it is but a short step to seeing ones self, and one’s police department, as another group of “Ubermenchen”.
The cop as public servant has become the cop as master of the public.
The Palin family’s experience with cops is a warning to us all.
BAAAD COPS! NO DONUTS ! ! ! ! !
Summation: Keep a vigilant eye on your public servants, or they will try to become your masters.
Sounds like he should have been in jail instead of a 5 day suspension.
Actually it was his step-son, i.e. his wife's 10 y/o boy.
A "yard sale". That's what happens when you hit the opponent so hard his helmet, gloves and stick go flying off and wind up all over the ice. One of life's greatest joys is to "yard sale' an opponent. Not so much to be "yard saled".
I finished reading the affadavit. The trooper should be fired immediately and should face criminal charges. His continued employment with the Alaska State Troopers is a disgrace of the organization. Additionally, what other innocent people are going to get snared by Wooten ?
Did you see this yet?
“But she hire a lawyer! She hired a lawyer!”
Best be advised: when you haven’t done anything wrong and you’re being accused, that is the time you need a lawyer most. We’ve all heard Miranda “anything you say CAN and WILL be used against you.” Not so with your attorney speaking for you, talking to police, preparing affidavits, etc. And BTW,from the affidavit, it looks like her attorney is a pretty good one at that.
Of clear interest PING!
Interesting read.
Thanks for posting it.

McCain Palin 2008 This is exciting & the media is in a schizophrenic melt down doing the heavy lifting for Obama. Sarah Palin says the only difference in Hockey Moms and Pit Bulls is lipstick. Sarah is a Hockey mom. "Watch em Sarah"!. |

“Actually it was his step-son, i.e. his wife’s 10 y/o boy.”
I will agree that step children can be more of a discipline problem than one’s own children.
But, even if he was busy being the “Perfect Brat”, Tasering a 10 y/o does not seem appropriate behavior. It is inappropriate for a parent, and it is likely illegal for a cop.
That the department defended this Thug-In-A-Uniform says much about the validity of my observations about improper management premises amongst America’s police department management.
America could easily find its self with a de facto police state. It has happened to other republics before, after all.
This just goes to show that there are some in Alaska who felt threatened by Palin’s anti-corruption state, too.
But, even if he was busy being the Perfect Brat, Tasering a 10 y/o does not seem appropriate behavior. It is inappropriate for a parent, and it is likely illegal for a cop.
I wasn't suggesting that at all. It is one thing to discipline your own child or even rough-house with your own child; but to do something like this to a step-child is even worse. If you marry someone who already has children, you take on a responsibility to care for the child(ren) in a way that carries even a higher responsibility than what you have for your own children. There would be no excuse for what this idiot did if the boy was his son; it is even less excusable that he did it to a step-son.
You know, if we really wanted to attack someone, this trooper would be the guy. He’s an adult, he has inserted himself into the process, and he deserves it.
Gretchen was livid. Lanny Davis was under siege (finally sputtered “but she’s against abortion for rape and incest”).
The media must be quite inept, to have missed these facts so long. “Never attribute to malice, that which can be explained by incompetence.” Press ncompetence is a far worse attribute than bias.
