Evidently domestic violence is suddenly a private matter and no one’s business. That is, unless it’s against a democrat woman and her family.

That isn’t true. Palin never hired an attorney. The state attorney general hired the lawyer, it’s part of their job.
That may be, but in either case, i would give credit to the law firm for making these decisions on how to handle the case, and perhaps they did receive some input from the campaign regarding their maneuvers post-VP announcement.
In my view it was done as an action required by the state attorney general’s office. I doubt any campaign member had to tell Palin’s staff about how to do their job in Alaska, as a member of the governor’s administration.
Well then we will just have to agree to disagree, because I see a change in how they are defending the matter since she became a candidate.
It’s only been about six weeks since Monegan was fired, and one month since the legislature appointed a special counsel. She’s hardly had time to execute a strategy, much less change it. If you go back and read the stories, she’s pretty consistently, in my view, pursued a strategy of full disclosure and trying to force a rapid conclusion.
Is lucky the "Heath sisters" didn't just shoot him, then have him stuffed and put above the fireplace.
Not Patriot, which would not be all that unusual. Rather Ground Based Interceptors, designed from the git go to shoot down incoming missile warheads, at much longer range than the Patriot can manage. They are silo based, not transporter and "pod" based, as Patriot is.

If Bob files a complaint against herself, while Charlie uses his office to quash investigations, that shows that Charlie is an honest person (since investigations against him have finished without finding anything) while Bob is a crook (where there's smoke, there's fire).
