This is crap. ABC in Oz must have adopted Rather Rules of Journalism where you just make up the “facts” as long as you believe the story to be true.
ABC won’t be around for the next election cycle so their opinion doesn’t matter much anyhow.

As a former network reporter, I can tell you, this is the worst form of journalism.
The fool doesn't even quote “unnamed sources.”
The story is entirely unsourced. It would get an F in News Writing 101

Idiocy. McCain always knew Lieb would not fly, and their deal has been for a cabinet seat all along.
Once Lieb is out, Paliln is the most maverick-y pick left that also puts balance on the ticket. So we have a combination of a bold pick that serves a pragmatic function. Interesting “strategery.”

MSM is just upset that McCain did not destroy his campaign by choosing Lieberman as his VP. That choice would have earned McCain the political equivalent of a Darwin Award.

Continued attemps by the MSM — the propaganda arm of DNC — to try to divide and conquer.
But this time Republicans won’t fall for it.
Go McCain/Palin!

Yeah, right, Mr. Shovelan. You write like your real name is a hyphenated one - Shovelan-Horsepoo.
If there is one thing that many of us know about John McCain, it’s that he does what he wants to do.
It looks to me like he made an excellent VP choice. Join the parade, or get the hell off the street.

Are they still pushing this talking point? Nobody’s biting. Really.

I think McCain really wanted Ridge or Leiberman.
But McCain wants to win.
So for whatever reason...rebellion or capitulation..we got some buzz.
Had it been Ridge or Joe...would there been the level of enthusiasm that was shown tonight? Not so much.
I love a gambler. :)

Not all evangelicals are conservative and certainly not all conservatives are evangelical. And after tonight’s speech, there should be no question that she belongs on the ticket.

Bull is right! John McCain has looked on Sara Palin as a fellow outsider and reformer for a long time, why else did the Governor of Alaska make it to the short list in the first place!
