Here’s the eye catching headline headline: “ Palin picked as last resort AFTER EVANGELICAL REVOLT”
Now we get into the fine print:
Here’s the first reference to a “revolt” in the article: Now it has emerged that the shock announcement of the unknown Ms Palin was forced upon Senator McCain “AFTER CONSERVATIVES THREATENED A REVOLT.”
Further down this morphed into “...[McCain was told by his advisors that] “.... if he proceeded to nominate Senator Lieberman, who is pro-choice on the issue of abortion, the conservative Christian base of the party WOULD TAKE THE ISSUE TO THE FLOOR OF THE CONVENTION AND TRY TO OVERTURN THE VOTE. “
So the author didn’t exactly lie, he was just spinning so fast that he must have disappeared right up his own singularity.
“This spin will replace she wasnt vetted properly.’
Barack Obama wasn’t vetted properly, unless you count vetting by Franklin Davis, Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, and Jeremiah Wright.
A thoroughly socialist outfit. I know a couple of their correspondents -- total s.o.b.'s.
The Viet Cong didn’t have much luck “forcing” John McCain to do anything.
That would be an "Rxangelical".
I think Rvangelical is an evangelical with a motor home.
maybe it’s just that it’s late - but I think that the RV quip is very funny.
Wonder how that would have turned out if he picked Joe?
Yeah, I hope John McCain doesn't make any more mistakes like that, he might end up with 20 million over a weekend. Maybe that will be the October surprize.
