That “old fogey” is the top of the ticket AND the man with enough self-confidence, wisdom, and yes, b*lls, to pick this woman, and stand by her side through the firestorm of Dem/media (same thing) criticism and filth this week. A man who likes to shake up the rules, and is willing to put his country’s future, rather than his own, first. He deserves our support for making this the most thrilling opportunity in our voting history in a long, long time.
Well said, and I also await what Mark Steyn has to say about the speech, LOLOL! Some on the left (of course!) have said the speech was too snide or sarcastic; I think it was an absolutely PERFECT response to the filth that she and her family have been put through this week. And anybody who doesn’t think she was speaking for US is smoking something.

The full measure of the effectiveness of this speech will be realized when we here Obama change his tunes. I am certain we will be able to pick up on shifts in rhetoric, after they recover from the kick the good governor delivered right to their soft and tenders.
On this particular point, I am willing to bet we will hear something like: "Our troops would have been victorious if not for the incompetency of Bush." A liberal will never express optimism, they will only look to "fix the blame."
Thanks Rush...
I think you’re right. New tagline:
Someone just told me that we should send Obama a flag so he could count the stars on it.
“The election is now McCains to lose.”
And Palins’.
She did a fantastic job ! Btw so did Rudy ! Btw Obama is going to be on Oreilly tonight.
Looks like someone is finally willing to put Obama in his place. It was a hard-hitting, defiant, pro-American speech and I loved it. But did she really have to get rid of the personal chef?
I could read or hear her speech a hundred times and still be thrilled. Thanks for posting this link, it is a keeper. There were so many zingers she threw at Obama and his campaign, softly yet with strength and extreme confidence. This is one lady who is very, very sure of herself and knows how to do a “put down” with few words and let others know she is aware of and will not accept their foolishness. Much the same way a good corporate leader runs a business - with an iron will, a knowing smile, and a gentle touch.
.
It fit with your own comments.
“Obama is going to be on Oreilly tonight.”
And I bet Bill is going to toss softball after softball.
In retrospect, even the liberal media in the past couple days couldn’t help but say that this woman hit the ball right out of the park. It’s been a beautiful spectacle to watch the left squirm.
McCain’s speech wasn’t bad either. McCain’s personal story is extremely compelling.
