I have a suggestion for Mr. Bin Biden. On Oct. 2nd, you might want to consider wearing an industrial strength athletic cup when you face Governor Palin.

That was my first thought. Did CBS actually use that headline? Rather must be boiling...
What I think is that the media wanted a role in the vetting process. That’s why they are attacking that process. The fact McCain kept this a secret did not allow the media to give their approval. And they would never approve of her. They would destroy her, make her appear as a liability, and would force McCain to pick someone else who isnt as threatning to Obama.
Once he made the pick, they panicked and tried everything in their arsenal to force her off the ticket. And I dont think it’s over yet. The media is starting...This could get even more ugly especially if the polls start to tighten.
Just my opinion...
Mr Ververs, check your Blackberry. A small-town ex-beauty queen handed you your yarbles tonight. The only people in your crew who aren't terrified are the ones who're too stupid to realize what's happened. You're going to have to put some substance behind your snide little insinuations if you want to deconstruct her.
But do take some comfort in this evening's events: it's going to get a whole lot worse for you and your "cosmopolitan" buds when she takes aim at Joe Biden. You may want to hide the keys to his liquor cabinet for the duration; he's embarrassing enough when he's sober.
The Drive-Bys have been putting everything they have into sliming Sarah these past few days. So along comes Sarah tonight, and with common sense, dignity and a smile she makes her case, she makes her critics look foolish and she does it all with the ease of hitting a slow-pitch watermelon with a baseball bat.

I know that I did something that I never do, not even once a year, and that is to go home and turn on the television. I swear to God, I knew I would not be disappointed. She is the antiHillary. Her voice is sweet and soothing, and not shrieky.
The dems are scared $h1+less. Sorry, no other way to say it. If Sarah gets to be the first woman President, Hillary will never get to the White House, and Bill will never be the philandering but loveable First First Husband. If Sarah gets to be Vice President, she will be President soon.
Some lib women hate her lol.
I was over at the DUmp after the speech. Some things that
make me know for sure we have a winner here :
1> The morons are trying to adopt the name “Snarky” for Gov. Palin. I am thinking about getting a kitten soon and naming him/her “Snarky”.
2> “Pig with lipstick”. Anyone that calls her a pig is being a little harsh...or blind...or possibly gay (I know, beauty is in the eye of a beholder).
3> They keep perpetuating this “inexperienced” myth. Are they that brainwashed. Yep...
4> She’s just pandering to her base. Um...no...Americans *like* to hear this. And it isn’t a rehash of the Bush talking points either :-)!
5> She just reading from a teleprompter. Right...OK...and Obama is getting his message delivered to him straight from God.
6> She’s going to stay in hiding in between appearences much like she did the past week. Uh, yeah...OK. And the McCain camp’s stroke of brilliance to “hide” her wasn’t to drum up interest, no...they were just afraid of the Big Bad Media and Evil Commies hurting the governor’s feelings.
Overall, it was all venom and rage....not like that’s anything new over there...however, they are really not going to like the days ahead and you can tell they are worried....it’s that venom and rage that you just know is self destructive.
Short of a major scandal breaking out, I cannot see Gov. Palin dragging the campaign down as these lunatics are trying to imply. She’s the real deal. How she gave that speech w/o even flinching, hesitating, or stuttering is beyond me. Frankly, after what she’s been though, most people in a similar situation would have passed out. I think McCain’s speech tomorrow is going to be a knock out (and this is coming from someone who hasn’t been that nice about him), and I cannot WAIT for the debates.
Going to that DUmp site is a blast. I highly recommend Freepers with nerves of steel to get an account and mess with them. It’s a fun distraction from time to time.

Let me predict the Drive-By Media on Oct. 1: "Stricken by a particularly virulent case of the flu, Democrat Vice Presidential contender Joe Biden has been forced to cancel his appearance in tomorrow night's debate with Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. A spokeswoman for the Obama/Biden campaign said the condition is not life-threatening, but added Biden will be "off the campaign trail for several days."
