Rumblings about Biden’s “personal issues” requiring more of his attention
Rumblings | 9.04.08 | rumblings

I am starting to hear rumblings that Biden has “personal issues” that have to be dealt with. There is no word on what these issues might be – but it might require more attention than he can now give to these “issues”

People familiar with this situation are beginning to speculate that Joe Biden might withdraw from the Democratic ticket as early as the middle of next week.

Hillary insiders have indicated that Hillary is available to step into the vacant slot “for the good of the party.” There are trial balloons already being floated to party officials suggesting possible scenarios on how this might happen without embarrassing Barak Obama, but it is too early to tell what kind of effect a Obama / Hillary ticket might have on the base of the Democratic Party. Very early indications are that a Obama / Hillary ticket would be well received

Look in the coming days…. Possibly Friday evening…. For serious questions about Bidens ability to serve as VP.

It would look so bad for him to do that, Obama would plummet in the polls. If he has to dump Biden, a guy who’s been around for almost 40 years, that would devastate the ticket no matter who replaced him. And, Hillary does not want to be on the losing Obama ticket. Why do you think they ended up with Biden? The ticket of hope’n’change picks a Senator who’s been in DC for decades? Obama & the Dems are stuck, there is no turning back.

A Biden ‘medical condition’ that needs immediate surgery and extended recovery is the only scenario I thought would fly, also. But one would hope that would bring up an outcry for a full medical record disclosure on both Obama and Hillary.

Haha! I hope that is the case. But Hillary might do it to retire her debt.

Except that she might never become president.

Dear hampdenkid,

“The guy has all of the earmarks of someone who over-imbibes.”

Could you elaborate?

Thanks,

Of course it will look bad. It’s an act of total desperation.

But putting Joe Biden up against Sarah Palin will look worse.

There isn’t a doubt in my mind that Plugs is a dead-man-walking.

I still wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if Biden suddenly became “unavailable” to fulfill his duties as would-be Veep and had to suddenly step-aside sometime this week.

Then they announce Hillary the day after the Republican convention.

Don’t put anything past these people... ever.

Can you point us to any of your other “rumblings” that proved to be true?

Sounds like Biden afraid of the USS PALIN. Whoever debates her better wear a cup and bring a clean changing of bloomers.

(I haven’t read the whole thread,) Rudy may have heard something about Biden being thrown off the ticket as reflected in his speech last night. He framed it as an Obama flip-flop,

Also there was the youtube video of Biden staggering and slurring. Either way it is damaging for the Dims until thee MSM figures out how to spin it to Obama’s advantage.

Biden has problems - whether they are personal or not - who knows?

I think there are some ethics issues with his kids getting sweetheart deals from companies that Biden helped - very sleazy.

As far as Hillary is concerned - she doesn’t want to work for Obama - give me a break.

I still say that Biden is the only one who would run with the hood rat.

Yeah, that'll make the dems look good. Pick one guy - realize he's not strong enough - have Obama change his mind (ONE MORE IIME) and put Hillary in. Then when she can't "do it", dump her and put in someone else.

Yep, I'd trust that guys judgement.

....dealings of his son?

But, but wasn’t he ‘’vetted?’’

Somebody has some ‘splaining to do. Hillary?!?!? Sloppy seconds? I think she’s too smart to bail Barry out.

True, true and this could be about the issue about the dealings of his son.

Yeah right. Needs to "spend more time with the family". Oldest bullsh-t line in the political playbook.

Dems would throw their grandmothers over board if it meant they would win.

You have to wonder what sort of unthinkable machinations are going on inside the Dem war rooms. Nothing will surprise me.
