Barack Bemoans Republican "Slash and Burn" Politics
Fox News | 9/4/08

Posted on 09/04/2008 12:37:41 PM PDT by pabianice

Now on... Obama has no word about the Dems' vomitous personal attacks against Palin, of course... reporter asks, "How is being a community organizer relevant to being President?" Obama... "They never mention my time in the state legislature (LOL!) or my time in the Senate (what time? He's never been there)"... reporter: "Why is your campaign going after Palin personally?" ... Obama: "She's only been in this for four days... we've been in this for 18 months... I don't think her ideas are any different than the failed McCain ideas... I'm the best person to bring the change we want on energy and health care and the economy..." Reporter: "With so many reporters attacking Palin, what should you do now?" Obama: "They have no agenda to run on... no idea how to make the lives of Americans better... thjey spent their time extolling McCain's biography..." Obama: "I've been called worse things on the basketball court... we need to provide good jobs at good wages (PAGING MICHAEL DUKAKIS...)... (more empty rhetoric)... clearly angry at reporters for asking real questions... ends interview.

“He is a whiney prima donna....”

More like a whiney prima donna Diva if you ask me. My 4 year son has more guts and masculinity than Obambi.

Rudy sure did, highlighting Barry Hussein's 137 'present' votes....

That part of the speech had me laughing so hard. Rudy was on a roll in his set-up for Gov Palin. What a one-two punch! Dems have no one to compare to those two speaking one after the other.

Liberal-Leftist-Socialism-Marxist-Communism big-brother-big-government Power-hungry-Elitism is a cancerous tumor that needs to be slashed out of American society with a scalpel and burned with radiation of truth.

What an empty suit.

He reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Kramer is “wroking” for a company that never employed him and he gets called into the manager’s office who hs to “fire” him from a job that doesn’t really exist, like a community organizer.

Did you know that one of his “present” votes had to do with Dog License Fees...... He couldn't even make up his mind on weather a Dog License Fee should be $10.00 dollars or $15.00 dollars. SOOOOO I guess he's not even qualified to be a "Dog Catcher". This CLOWN is truly pathetic.

Obama will not come off looking good on the news tonight.

Palin left a mark and McCain should follow up tonight with a roundhouse.

“The Zero” definitely is jealous of what Governor Palin pulled off last night.

Barack Obama has never had to deal with serious adversity in his adult life.

Think about it. He’s had a pretty good go of things, has he not? Law school, editor of the law review...then he became a “community organizer,” whatever THAT is. Let’s just say it’s probably not a job where he got criticized too much, I’d imagine. Oh, and he was also a lecturer in a law school too.

He decided to get into politics, and there he was, the perfect “narrative,” as Peggy Noonan might say. Attractive, black (well, bi-racial, but the white part obviously doesn’t count), “post-partisan,” intelligent, articulate, a tremendous orator. His Chicago pol friends paved the way for him, and helped him get into the State Senate, and then the US Senate...remember those releases of Jack Ryan’s nasty divorce papers that forced him from the race against Obama? Gee, how’d that happen?

So here he is. Barack Obama has the world by the short-n-curlies. A man who can send eighty thousand people in a stadium into fits of ecstacy with honeyed, empty-calorie words of “hope” and “change.” A man who took a long-shot bid at the Presidency and ran it roughshod over the dominant political force in the modern Democratic Party, and made it look easy. He’s had the skids greased for him to coast into the White House, in a year where the press has convinced the American people that Republicans are thuggish hypocrites and President Bush is simultaneously a fascist evil genius and a blithering idiot.

And all of a sudden, there’s a problem. Somebody isn’t sticking to the script. The Republicans aren’t going with the program and rolling over like Republicans do. Their nominee mostly shored his relations up with their base, they patched up their internal cracks, and then WHAM. Hurricane Sarah made landfall in St. Paul and all Heaven broke loose. And she took him apart like she’d field-dress a caribou.

And he has NO IDEA what to do about it.

I'm sure the reporter never pointed out that every time Obama talks about Sarah, he always refers to her as a "small-town mayor", completely ignoring her time as an oil and gas commissioner and governor...

Sorry, Barry - payback is a b!tch.

I wouldn’t vote for Rudy to be President, not on a bet. But I will give him this, he is one amazing speaker when he gets on a roll. And last night, he was REALLY enjoying being the designated attack dog.

“we need to provide good jobs at good wages”

Is that an exact quote? If so, more ammo to use against him.

TYPICAL LIBERAL!!!

Job creation is NOT something Government can do!

His college records are sealed and he refuses to release them. Was affirmative-actioned into Columbia under a make-work "major." Affirmative-actioned into Harvard Law. Benefitted from the rules changing from the Law Review President being the best student to his being the most oppressed minority (not making this up). No record of his ever passing the bar. "Associate" at law firm that extorted protection money from companies who were threatened with being called "racist" (paging Jesse Jackson). If ANYONE EVER reads an MSM newspaper again after this election it will be a sure sign of brain damage.

I think Rudy belongs as the Attorney General so he can use those bulldog skills to go after corruption, etc. Can you imagine the shake-up that he would give the AG Department or Homeland Security. That would be so fun to watch!

It’s all scripted anyway, Fox had to agree to which questions he could ask.

When I was watching that, I figured they had Rudy up there playing the part of the crazy uncle. He did good old New Yorker roasting of Plugs and Ughs; mocking and laughing at them. I thought that was designed to get the criticisms aimed at Rudy so Sarah would look less attacking. Based on Obama's comments today, they are worried about Sarah and Sarah ONLY.

I've coached junior soccer. I don't blame his for being afraid of a soccer mom, they're mean.. :)
