Negatory. Give to RNC. McCain campaign cannot accept funds for political purposes anymore.

Give to RNC. Can't, after telling them not one more dime if they don't deal with the borders.

Actually, you can give to the McCain campaign’s compliance fund. This is a nice little loophole whereby your donation goes towards expenses other than campaign adds etc. It allows the McCain campaign to stretch out those public funds.

I just called up this morning and donated to them and they said there was no issue at all with still donating.

When I went to the McCain website to donate this afternoon I was seemlessly taken to a RNC page. They got my $$$ no problem.
Please, donate whatever we can.

Make a Contribution. McCain-Palin Victory 2008 is a joint fundraising committee by the McCain-Palin Compliance Fund, Republican National Committee, and Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, and Pennsylvania Republican Parties. Because the McCain-Palin Campaign is participating in the presidential public funding system, it may not receive contributions for the any candidate's election. However, federal law allows the McCain-Palin Campaign's Compliance Fund to defray legal and accounting compliance costs and preserve the Campaign's public grant for media, mail, phones, and get-out-the-vote programs. Contributions to McCain-Palin Victory 2008 will go to the Compliance Fund, and to participating party committees for Victory 2008 programs. Not exactly sure what that means. It sounds like they can still take money for ads??
