Joe won’t let us down in the next two months.

The facinating thing for me about the loony left is that politicians like Clinton, Biden, Obama, Kennedy, Kerry, et al, have to appeal to the dumbest and most extreme among us.

As children, we were encouraged to “reach for the stars”. As lefty politicians, they have to go for the mud.

Therein lies the difference between the likes of Gov. Palin, and naked greed for power.

The Russians used tanks on their Congress. I still remember my mom calling me at college to tell me about it, saying, “This is what we need to do!”

We’d have to have pictures or at least placards with the names of the Congresscreeps, though, or nobody would get it :-).

PREDICTION: Obama now not happy with what Biden brings to the ticket (dullness, mainly) and there is possibility he will DUMP Biden before too long.

Joe’s just trying to lower expectations for the VP debate.

Over 30 years in the Senate and all he has to look forward to is getting his butt kicked by a moose hunting hockey mom in a VP debate.

...Would YOU want to face her in a debate?
He knows she is sensational on the topics she knows about.

He doesn’t know what other topics she knows about. Gulp.

By the way, I just heard from another card carrying Dem. say he’s voting Rep. this time.

Obama needs Biden for "gravitas".

An albatross does carry a lot of weight, especially when it is around your neck.

"estopped" as in estoppal (a bar preventing one from contradicting what one has previously said was the truth.)
In this article, Senator Hairplugs uses the wrong word, then later demonstrates why he should be held to the discipline of estoppal.

Hillary has less experience that does Palin and Obama. Palin has 16 years, Obama has 11, and Hillary has 4.

Besides, female is not Palin’s only constituency: you’ve got to add hockey/soccer moms, security moms, special needs moms, NRA moms, large family moms, etc., etc.,....

I simply cannot fathom anyone with a daughter that they care about not wanting to vote for Palin.

Estopped, as he went on to explain in his speech is a law term.

Thanks! I didn't know that. Learn something everyday on FR. When I was in Spain, I notice that most of them put an 'e' on the beginning of English words beginning with 's'.

Obama is screwed if he keeps Slow Joe and he's screwed if he dumps him. Unless, of course, the come up with a medical reason.

I think they should find he has a bad case of laryngitis for the rest of the campaign.

You are so right. If any American cares about their daughters, then they must support the vision of female that Palin represents: strong, principled, independent, pro-family, patriotic.

Or they can support the Gloria Steinem/femi-socialist model: Welfare, Victim, Whining, communal, anti-American, anti-children, anti-male

Honestly: which life would you want your daughter to live? Which role model would you want for her: Strong Frontier-Woman Sarah Palin or Victimhood Queen Nancy Pelosi?

You also need to factor in who Obama is indebted to and what whoever that is wants him to do. He is not is own person; he has sold his soul; any move he makes will have to be approved by his master (and m’chelle m’belle).

No President above the law, Joe?

You had no problem giving Clinton a pass in 1998-1999.
