American Flags Trashed At Invesco

This will not sit well with many.

Here’s a rundown of my night at convention:

2:55 p.m. — After a long walk, I reach the huge white tents where we have to go through the scanning and search routine. There are dumpsters filling up with stuff people can’t take into the stadium. I notice umbrellas and even American flags thrown in the trash cans. (Ironically, everyone inside was handed an American flag.)

This story is now breaking.

Like everything else patriotic, a flag is just a prop to win votes for a democratic. It doesn’t mean anything else to them. (Except as a sign of the “jingoistic imperialism of the United States.”)

I guess these dirtbags figured the proper way of handling the flag would contribute to global warming....

2) This story is not “breaking” no matter what the author may think. I read it on FR the day after their convention. And it got zero traction.

Carl Cameron just reported on Fox that the Boy Scouts went to the trash containers and picked up 87 large trash bags of the flags and will now give each person at the campaign stop, which by the way is so full the line to get in he says is 4 miles long,

Mc and Co. will find a good home for those American flags.

They are passing them out to people who are attending on of the rallies today.

There are also a number of articles posted here about it. AND...McCain, at a Denver stop today, has the bags of flags on stag with him!!! FOX is reporting about it from Denver.

Whoever made the call on the PALIN/mccain campaign to go get the flags and hand them out at a rally is a genius. It wouldn’t surprise me if it was Sarah’s idea.
