The Obama camp must be in melt down. Perhaps fearing that the MSM has now slowed in its efforts to villify Sarah Palin and drive her out of the race, they have taken up the slurs and slams directly. Howard Guttman, an original member of the Obama national finance committee, went on Laura Ingraham Friday to again and again infer that Palin’s parenting skills and the choice to run for VP were suspect. It is stunning actually. A sample:
Gutman said the issue wasn’t one of gender, but one of parenting -– regardless of the gender of the parent.
“This has nothing to do with gender, whether Todd Palin was the nominee or Sarah Palin was the nominee,” Gutman said. “If my daughter had just come home at 17 years old and said, ‘Mom, Dad, I’m pregnant, we have a family problem,’ I wouldn’t say, ‘You know what we’re going to do? We’re going to take this private family problem…and you know what I’m going to do? I’m going to go on the international stage and broadcast this to the world.’”
Gutman continued, “this wasn’t a working mother issue, this was a parent issue…The proper attack is not that a woman shouldn’t run for vice president with five kids, it’s that a parent, when they have a family in need, a Down’s baby who needs them — mother or father.”
“So you are judging her parenting skills,” Ingraham said. “You’re saying you don’t think she’s a good parent for doing this job.”
“I’m saying the proper criticism is not that it’s a woman or man – it doesn’t matter whether it’s Todd or Sarah,” Gutman said. “Think of how many politicians have said it’s not the right time in my family’s life for me to run.”
The Obama camp denied that this outburst represented their views. (If you believe that, I have some old Wesley Clark interviews to play for you.) And if Guttman really strayed entirely off message and his views violate the Obama directive to leave kids and family “out of it,” isn’t the correct response to give Guttman back his money? He can’t be fired because he is not, to my knowledge, working on the campaign. But the equivalent treatment would be to denounce him and separate the Obama campaign from his noxious views by returning his check(s).
One wonders what the Obama internal polling must be and what the chit-chat within the Obama camp must be to set off such blather and stupidity. Like the “hair trigger” response which greeted the original Palin announcement, one wonders if this latest episode suggests that Obama isn’t, after all, a great executive, but rather a mere figurehead unable to reign in his troops or provide them with guidance in troubling times. Imagine if the crisis were something other than a drop in his poll numbers.

Didn’t Obama say that he would fire anyone in his campaign that engaged in sexist comments?
He should make an “executive” decision on this one.

I think Mr. Guttman, he of dubious intellect, is unable to understand the fact that conservatives are glad the nominee is Sarah Palin rather than Todd Palin.
My only fear at this point is that eventually the Obama people will figure out that they are undermining their candidate (as well as making asses of themselves) and stop talking.
Any Jews who come into contact with Guttman or Axelrod during "high holy days" this year should denounce them on the spot.
After Biden's first wife was killed in a tragic accident, he continued to campaign for his senate seat.
Edwards, continue to run for president when his wife was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Faced with the same predicament, ZerObama has already told us his parenting solution. He would advise his daughter execute his grandchild.

Did anyone catch the Glenn Beck tv show on Thursday? He had a panel of authors including Dr. Jerome Corsi, David Freddoso, Jonah Goldberg and Stephen Moore on “OBAMA 101”, which I taped and watched only this morning.
I consider this show the most important one I’ve seen. The panel explains that Community Organizing is a concept based on Socialist Saul Alinsky’s book, “Rules for Radicals”.
Their main aim is to infiltrate the schools and bring outsiders in to education.
Alinsky’s mantra was “Change”, which is not, in reality, change at all, but an excelleration of left wing “take from the haves and give to the have nots”.
The Left’s mode of operation is to say anything necessary to gain power.
Raster, if you by any chance taped this show, can you put it on your menu and post it? Perhaps you can capture it by going into Beck’s website. Really worth a try. Thanks.

So this is the new Obama smear tactic...claim he will “fire” anyone in his campaign who attacks Palin’s family and then send out unpaid volunteers to do it.
Does this pig Gutman imagine the problem is the baby? Is she being punished with a baby?
Of course. That's the unspoken text of all these attacks on Sarah's Down's Syndrome baby. Nudge, nudge. She should have aborted him.
They can't exactly SAY that, or it might offend some of their viewers who aren't abortion fanatics. But they can broadly hint at it, and the moonbats will know exactly what they are talking about.

Did anyone catch that in a recent magazine interview (I think it was People but I’m not certain), 0bama’s eldest daughter mentioned she got $1/week for allowance, and once because 0bama hadn’t been home for 10 weeks she got $10?
2 1/2 months of not seeing your children when you are a ‘committed Christian’ whose trip home is nothing but a private jet plane ride away?
2 1/2 months when you dare to lecture the black community of their fatherly neglect?

This confuses me. Joe Biden daughter was arrested in 2002 on a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a police officer outside a Chicago bar.

Under the same logic of the author, this is an indication that he is a poor parent and should have resigned in 2002 to stay at home and focus on his parental duties. I don’t see any indications that his candidate Biden did that.
Biden’s first wife was killed a week before Christmas while Christmas shopping, so after he had won the election.
gutman is truly a POS. And further, is he advocating anyone with a chalenged child to either abort the child, or drop out of politics, or get rid of the child in some manner? Quick, Gutman, what is your answer and isn’t Gutman a Germanic name?
