Much has been said about her speech, but a few points. "The difference between a hockey mom and a pitbull? Lipstick" is pure American and goes straight into Bartlett's. This is the authentic sound of the American mama, of every mother you know at school who joins the board, reads the books, heads the committee, and gets the show on the road. These women make large portions of America work.

Some dem mouthpiece is on Fox now - the latest talking point is that Gov. Palin is a distraction. Oh, and he also said that a poll taken on Emily’s List (I don’t know what that is) shows 55% against Gov. Palin. What’s Emily’s List?

A pro-abort funding mechanism for pro-death female candidates. Also an acronym -- Early Money Is Like Yeast -- EMILY. Their goal is to funnel the funds to the pro-death team as early as possible in the political process.

Emily’s List is a group that tries to raise money to get liberal pro-abortion women elected nationwide. While I’ve read some state that their poll was conducted by an “impartial” outside polling agency, I still regard the results with a healthy dose of skepticism. Especially considering that Palin, a strong conservative woman who is immensely popular in her own right, isn’t beholden to them in any way, and I’m sure that frightens them something awful.

It's the elite club of women political donors who have dedicated their lives and fortunes to the cause of angry women with a chip on their shoulders. They certainly look down their noses at a genuine American mother and successful conservative woman leader like Sarah Palin.
They feverishly support a mother's right to kill.
What is surprising in this poll of Emily's List donors is not the majority against Palin but apparently the 45% who are not against Palin.
Peggy Noonan should be looked on for what she has become.
Like the aging and fragile Nancy Reagan now being manipulated by her son Ronnie Jr. into saying she “likes” Obama, Nancy Noonan has become a puppet of the elite and fragile in her need for their approval.
She is always talking about “the train going off the rails” and “the dark world swirling”. I think she is on prescription drugs when she writes half her stuff. The WSJ should look in Alaska for a replacement of this time worn and now trite “deep” thinker. Sarah Palin’s former press secretary looked sounded really cute and fresh and absolutely intelligent and on the mark on Fox News the other day. Let her write a column and then we’ll see how “poetic Peggy” has become “Old Time Rose” or more like “Tokoyo Rose” bought to you by the elitist and out of touch WSJ.

Noonan has a cut out quite a career for herself. She does nothing for me. She is a bit like Obama in that she likes to hear herself talk and that is about all she contributes in her articles anymore . . . flaccid BS without real heart and substance.
