Republicans have regained their status as the largest voting bloc in Colorado, a battleground state for the 2008 presidential election.
The Colorado secretary of state says in a report posted online this week that registered Republicans total more than 1,024,500. Unaffiliated voters are second at just under 1,022,400.
Colorado is becoming illegal central. We’ll see how long this lasts. Denver has seen some pretty massive surges in Spanish-only speakers, and their school system has paid the price.
There are those who settled in Colorado ages ago and like New Mexico, there are some rather old, traditional Hispanic communities there. But the vast majority of the boom is due to illegals.
They're not new voter until they actually vote. My guess is that a good number of them will probably forget to bother.
PING!
