Neutral analysts will look back and see Obama’s failure to even pretend to vet and consider Hillary for veep to be the key tactical error by Obama. Combine that with McCain’s key tactical success in picking Palin, and you have an amazing turnaround in the course of just two weeks, beyond the normal bounce/counter-bounce between the two conventions.

That's easy to answer. Biden is suppose to be the person to hatchet Sarah. Instead, Obama selected three women, Hillary and two governors to hatchet Sarah. Hillary said that she will try but instead she feels that she must spend her time getting demo senators re-elected.
