ANOTHER DEADLY combination of too many guns and too little mental healthcare has exploded in Washington state, where a 28-year-old man allegedly killed six people on a two-hour shooting rampage Tuesday. The tragic story could get lost in the week's focus on presidential politics, but the presidential campaign is precisely where these issues should be debated.

Thank the liberals who have made possible the rules that now govern the mental health care system. Too many people that should be under care are not...because you know they have the right to sign themselves out of treatment. I will bet that the parents of this kid were frustrated by the same rules by the way the article states that he was in and out of treatment.

Liberals could never win a debate about gun control if they were restricted to fact and truth. They think their wants and feelings should rate the same as facts and truth.
Every statistic I know of shows that gun control does not work, never has, and never will!!!!!!!!!
Take a look at Chicago and see how all of Berry's “organizing” and gestapo orientated gun control laws stopped violent gun crime. In this gun control Nazi city more people were killed by guns last year than the total loss of US troops in Afghanistan and Iraq during the same period of time!!!!!!! This is what liberals and gun control laws get you, many more dead citizens!!!! That is exactly what the statistics prove.

There is no license, permit, or registration required to buy or own a handgun, . . .
And how do any of these stop a murderer?

. . . and background checks are not automatically required for gun sales.
Note the apples/oranges spin - talk about handguns in the first part, then refer to "guns" in the second - implying there are no laws covering handgun sales. Can anybody from Washington clarify what the laws are?

This happened in Skagit County, WA where I live. In Whatcom County, just to the north, a tax increase was just approved- to aid in mental health care and drug treatment programs.
