Does this nimrod even think about his nonsensical answers before he makes them? Look, Plugs, if we’d given back control two and a half years ago, before the surge, Al-Qaeda would be running Anbar. The idea of the surge WAS to bolster the ability to give Iraqi control to the various regions.
It’s as if Biden was around during secession saying “we need to abolish slavery” but isn’t in favor of armed conflict to do so. Lincoln fights and wins the Civil War, to have Biden say “yeah, well, the War only allowed them to do what I said four years ago, which was free the slaves.”
