For once he is right. However, the grandaddy of all right wingers, Ronald Wilson Reagan, was also wildly popular all real Americans. Only rabid leftists and MSM journalists didn't "get" Reagan.

At some point someone should note to Obama that McCain has ALSO been in the race for 19 months.

It all about those dreaded, hokey conservatives! Heck, if Obama's right there should have been NO shift in the polls!

Where on the other hand, Obama’s appeal is to the extreme, left-wing moonbats, Iran, Libya and Al Qaeda.

Amazing insight. That should put to rest the idea that Obama is a dim bulb. He is a brainiac.

I was watching some talking heads last night, and one addressed Obama’s directing fire at Palin - she repeated a maxim from Nixon that you never talk downward. Obama and his campaign are showing a serious lack of preparation for a horse race to the finish. The irony is, they are simply repeating Hillary’s mistake. She thought she had the nomination wrapped up and did not prepare for the possibility that she would have to fight for it. Obama thought that once he won the nomination, it would be a cakewalk to November, and now that he in turn is in a fight, it is clear that he and his campaign were not prepared for this possibility. Too. Dang. Funny.

Hey Hussein, tell that to the 25% of Hillary supporters that are voting for your opponent in November.

Wow, talk about your Captain obvious. She is so popular because she is a real conservative. Yet, she also resonates with many on the left also, especially the ones who are waking up by actually seeing the bias of the MSM for the first time.

Well, considering Obama’s voting record in the Senate, you have to remember that for him, “right wing” begins with Bernie Sanders and includes such folks even further to the right as Kennedy, Biden, Patty Murray, and Barbara Boxer.

It’s all relative.

Saw the anointed one at noon. He kept blaming the Bush/McCain administration for all the problems. Did I miss something here? Did Cheney resign over the last few years? I rather have a war hero senator and a self made, honest, do it on her own, hunting, fishing, NASCAR , hockey Mom, than some stuttering lawyer who needs a script to prevent him from saying things he shouldn’t.

Every conservative who wouldn’t vote against Osama, but will now vote for Palin, will be offset by an energized liberal. Palin is a powerful symbol That threatens feminist dogma. A pro-life evangelical mother they will want to destroy.

The middle doesn’t vote ideology. They vote on looks, and feelings like trust, and likability. They vote based on what they think the candidate will do for them, or fear of what the candidate might do to them. These are the voters who will win a landslide for McCain. Palin is pulling the female vote on nothing more than anatomy. That is not to say she has no other qualities to offer. I think she is a marvelous choice for multiple reasons. Those reasons don’t matter to the squishy middle. They are voting for “the first woman Vice President.” Sarah {sigh}

Those voters were going to vote for Obama because he was cool, and those votes count as 2 votes. -1 for Obama and 1 for Palin. Most conservatives were already going to hold their noses and vote against Osama. Palin brings far more soccer moms and Miss Teen South Carolina contestants to the table than conservatives.

Smart fella, that obama. I wonder when he figured that out. I never realized right wing people liked Palin.

Then, I bet he must be liked by left wing people. Yuh think? Imagine, ideology being important.

Hey, I’m getting pretty good at this politics stuff!
