Thanks to likes of Nancy Pelosi and O'bomber, the people are being re-educated back into our direction especially when they use terms like "Social Justice". Those terms are like triggers in our minds and remind those us of born before 1989 of those days of the cold war.
They call themselves Progressive's but they're really Comrades dressed up like Donkey's.
I was thinking Steve Schmidt. This is the first I’ve heard of the actual ad man. Thanks for posting. The guy is doing amazing work. Crisp, to the point, funny, stylish.
They should have vetted the Clintons too.
I watched the clip twice on Fox and Friends this AM and as it played I was struck by the way Obama somewhat hesitated and stuttered and covered his forehead before making that remark. I think he was very uncomfortable knowing what he was about to say. I agree that the double meaning was intended and am glad the Republicans didn’t let it pass. F&Fs also played the Republican response ad twice and I am thrilled that we have fighters back in the campaign for rapid response. The Republican ad team did good.

Yes, Fred Davis started at age 19 producing ads for his parents PR firm in Tulsa. His local advertising for a Repbulican Congressman, Jim Inhofe, launched him. I like the way they are affective and funny (celebrity, Moses in parting of the sea, etc.)..and yet to the point. First time in a long time I can remember political ads funny!
Here’s the thread, again..

I think the McCain team should now accept the Obama explanation, that the comments were not directed at Palin, and immediately attack Obama on his political Tin Ear and the dangers of a President that can’t figure out what to say and when to say it.
Yes, agree. Just heard Obama try to explain away his lipstick/pig comments and blame it on McCain. Unbeleivable. He sounded angry and I can tell you as a woman...it doesn’t fly.
McCain is coming on now and I look forward to the class and dignity he will show....and how he will stand up to Obamas actions.
Obama and Biden (The Duke Brothers)
The "lipstick" comments HAVE to be pointed out by the McCain-Palin Campaign. Why? Because Obama/Biden are calling this woman a pig. It is either that or Obama/Biden are too stupid to not have known about one of the biggest applause lines that Palin gave in her speech. Does anyone think they are that dumb? Of course not. And nothing comes out of Obama's mouth unless it is scripted.
Obama/Biden are like the Duke brothers who think they owned everything in the Eddie Murphy "Trading Places". They both think that they OWN the right to the presidency and the power that comes with it. Biden thinks so because he has hung around long enough to have "earned" it. I think Obama thinks he deserves the presidency simply because his skin is dark and he is smarter than everyone else in his own little mind.
No folks, this was an intentional move by the Obama/Biden campaign. A stupid one but as least the media is talking about Obama/Biden now. LOL!
McCain/Palin are cleaning the Obama/Biden clock!
Did Monica wear lipstick?
Does someone have that pic of Hussein wearing makeup? That would be priceless combined with his quote (or my tag)!
The audience knew what he meant, even if you are confused.
McCain talked about the Hillary health care plan. Obama made it quite clear who/what he was referring to. His audience immediately laughed and chanted Palin’s name. Obama is very scripted. He did not correct the audience.
He’s was caught dead to rights. I think he should have been skewered.
If he doesn’t want to be hounded on stuff like this, he needs to clean up his act. So should his staff and other Democrats.
Hence Obama is either vicious or stupid.
If he simply recited an old adage which he has used in the past, then he is stupid for not noticing that a line that used to get a yawn suddenly caused the crowd to erupt in shouts and shrieks of laughter.
Or he is just vicious for using a slur yesterday, and not apologizing for it today.
I really wish we could get off the Muslim stuff.
It just makes us look bad.
Even if he was a Muslim, that doesn’t mean that he’s a radical Muslim.
There is no way on earth I would ever vote for Obama, but it is not because of his religion, his color or his wife...it’s because of his POLITICS.
We should focus on policy, not this surface B.S.
I agree that the AUDIENCE assumed he was talking about Palin and they lapped it up.
Ergo, either 1) he intended that meaning, despite his denial today and repetition of the same quotation.
Or, 2) he is an idiot for not recognizing that his audience is "misunderstanding" him.
It's got to be one of those two things.
And, personally, I don't think he's an idiot.
Or he is just vicious for using a slur yesterday, and not apologizing for it today.
When has he EVER apologized? He can’t apologize for the not voting for the surge or agreeing even that it works...he can’t apologize for the lipstick and pig comment...even though he continued on with that comment to mention the thin veil of change/stinky fish/8 years....He KNEW what he was doing and knew the reaction...he even waited for the people to “get it.” This comment and how he handled did NOT unite our country. But, he has given us a line that will probably be his legacy when he heads back to Illinois and Chicago political scene. He will be remembered as the lipstick on pigs as well as Clinton for the cigar!!
