typical... he brings the bad joke up, then cries for his mommy when he is called on it..

He called Mccain's policies Stinky fish and a 'pig' and Sarah Palin is the nice wrapper on the fish and the lipstick trying to make it look prettier.

EVERYONE, liberal or conservative, who thinks that he was calling her a pig or a stinky fish is displaying our nation's complete lack of critical thinking skills. I can't stand Obama but this is just ridiculous.

Obama: "Thats not change, that's just calling something that's the same something different. You can put lipstick on a pig ... but it's still a pig."

The Democrats know that they can’t win over ever voter. This is why sometimes they seek to turn off voters at least to voting Republican, if not voting altogether.

A good strategy sometimes. If a candidate knows that he can win if he gets 20% of the undecided vote, then a move which solidifies 25% of the undecided vote for him and 75% for his opponent may sometimes be a good one (but remember what is said about the 'prevent' defense...). Obama, though, is actively alienating whose votes he would need to have any chance of victory. That shows exceptionally poor judgment. If he melts down this badly under campaign stress, there's no way he could handle the presidency.

It's unclear whether the people who laughed at Obama's line thought McCain or Palin was the pig, but clearly they thought one or the other was. Such personal name-calling never bodes well for a candidate.
