The Alaska governor, a Christian, has come under fire for criticizing community organizers, but according to labor leader Cecil Roberts, Jesus was a community organizer.

It was cute for about half a day after Palin and Giuliani mocked the Big 0’s stint as a community organizer but the quip is banal at this point.

These people on the left have not really had anything really going on to speak of for the past 8 years. All they have really done is BASH and BASH and BASH.
They saw a lot of success with this strategy when things were not going so well in Iraq. They mistakely think that
they can BASH their way into the Whitehouse. (With no ideas)-Now the tide has turned in Iraq. Bush is a Lame duck- but all they know is hate filled bashing because that’s all they have done for 8 years. The main stream media has joined in the bashfest the past few years. They are puzzled right now as to why the American people are rejecting their candidate. Their best shot was Hillary but they let the haters on the extreme left led by Soros push her out.

Jesus was NOT a community organizer. His kingdom is on Heaven, not earth, and all of his focus is on that.
Jesus was apolitical. He suggested people should render unto Caesar what was Caesar’s. He did not advocate on a political basis. He did not try to get people to organize. He did not try to urge them to do anything other than accept God, His sacrifice, repent, and live as a good person, treating others with love.
Is Obama saying that was all he was doing in Chicago?
Is that what all the organizers in Chicago limit their actions to?
The Dems continue to prove they don’t understand the simplest concepts of Christianity.

Speaking as a community organizer(I started a Boy Scout Troop at our church)you don’t do it for the accolades...unless your work experience is severely limited and you see it as an entry level job.

The comparison of Obama and Jesus both being Community Organizers sure makes the connection by the Democrats...or it may be next. Of coure Jesus was never a community organizer, and this whole nonsense is crazy. Carol Fowler’s comment Palin’s only qualification was she did not have an abortion, and “the lipstick on a pig”, that was frontpage on THE DEMOCRAT PARTY website about Palin when she was selected as VP....so now we are using Jesus, after Sen Fowler said about Hurricane Gustav that God favored the dems...how low can they go?
Jesus also decided to not partake of the government’s of this world. So if Obama wishes to begin a global ministry that does not include the teachings of Jeremiah Wright, I would happily vote for it.
Jesus healed, miracles and presented his case as the Messiah, and there was no community organizing going on, and if you don’t believe me PLEASE READ THE NEW TESTAMENT.
I don’t recall anywhere in the Bible where Jesus tried to run for governmental executive office, or even suggested that he might be fit for such. If I missed it, could someone please point it out for me? IMHO the closest he came was when he said “Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s, render unto God that which is God’s”.
There is a long and illustrious list of very successful community organizers that were smart enough to realize that they didn’t belong in government MLK Jr and Gandhi being the two that leap immediately to mind.
