According to the Romans, but not Jesus Himself. Jesus claimed to be the Son of God, but I don’t believe he ever claimed to be the true King of the Jews.

Perhaps you were just kidding.

Well, we certainly know he wasn’t a Democrat.

Jesus was a carpenter. I’ll wager if you check Obama’s hands, they’ll be as soft and smooth as Trig Palin’s butt.

His Geneology presents him as being a royal.

Palm Sunday is considered a political welcome

Yes, only the last three years of his life was lived as the Messiah and Savior.

His parents knew, and raised him as Messiah, and at twelve they had to go back to get him...his special birth all was validation of his Messiah, but until his baptism he was a carpenter in his adult life.

For some reason, I’ve always had this weird vision of a young Jesus hanging out with his friends at the Roman version of Home Depot, talking about the results from the last night’s chariot races. He probably lived a fairly regular life when he was younger.

And I roll my eyes when Dems try to play up the whole “Jesus was poor” meme. He was a carpenter, a skilled craftsman. He was probably fairly comfortably middle-class.

Bert, not to give you a hard time, I have another point I’d like to make.

It was important that Jesus be born as a man to an earthly woman. Lucifer’s primary complaint in heaven was that God was unfair, his laws so strict that no being could reasonably be expected to adhere to them. Nevermind that two thirds of the angels in heaven did.

If it wasn’t important that the point be made that a man could adhere to God’s laws, Jesus could have come to earth as a heavenly being, and have been sacrificed without assuming the role of an earthly man.

Earthly man chose Satan as their leader through original sin. It was to be an earthly man who redeemed man back to God. Yes, Jesus was the Son of God, but it was important IMO, that he redeem man from the position of being a man devoted to following God’s law.

Take care.

The Dems continue to prove they don’t understand the simplest concepts of Christianity.

Correction...The Dems continue to prove they don't read the Bible.

You are exactly right, and his adult life feeding the poor, etc was with the 12 disciples with him...to get time alone he went out on water alone or drew away for prayer. There was a money bag kept by Judas Iscariot, until he betrayed Jesus...but always there was money to buy their needs.

THE JESUS did not do work with acorn, so this must be referring to Jesus the gardener or something.

I’ll bet you missed the verse about how Jesus was crucified for organizing a march on Pilate’s office, demanding action to reduce the mercury in the local fish and free health care for poor fish-eating Galileans...

Rumor has it the criminals on either side were ACORN activists who registered the poor for the upcoming elections for Emperor.
