Please, "President" McCain, make Fred Attorney General, Supreme Court Justice or something else in the "heavyweight" category!

As far as embedded reporters who pays all their air fares and such when they are flying around with the politicians? If it is use the tax payer we should have a say who gets to ride for free.

The same day Bentley snarked about Thompsons appearance, the CBS Network removed a web ad created by the McCain campaign from the Internet. The ad contained a clip of CBS Anchor Katie Couric deriding the prevalence of sexism in American politics, which CBS said was unacceptable to use.
"CBS News does not endorse any candidate in the presidential race, the network said in a statement. Any use of CBS personnel in political advertising that suggests the contrary is misleading.
It is unacceptable to use a comment by the Great Katie which derides the prevalence of sexism in American politics because that endorses a candidate????
CBS is just admitting that they endorse sexism in American Politics by pulling this ad.
The end result of this action is that this is CBS announcing that they are endorsing the Democrat ticket.

If shed been a liberal woman doing all this, CBS and the other networks would already be fighting over the rights to create a television series about her.Ain't THAT the truth?!
I want McCain to appoint Fred to the Supremes. I'd pay real money to watch THAT Senate Comfirmation hearing!

I didnt realize that the mainstream media considered winning the Revolutionary War and freeing the slaves to be political events, Thompson told Townhall. But, nevertheless, it just occurs to me that this woman went from the PTA to becoming the vice presidential nominee, and along the way became Governor; took on and defeated the entrenched powers, the big oil companies, her own state party chairman, [and] an incumbent Republican governor while reforming the energy policies for Alaska to the benefit of the entire country. If shed been a liberal woman doing all this, CBS and the other networks would already be fighting over the rights to create a television series about her. *******************
Ah, Fred. Please stay involved in politics. We desperately need your wisdom and perspective.

IMO, the GOP has been too soft for far too long. Take the gloves off and climb in the gutter where these Liberals live and breed and fight them using their tactics back on them. That includes Liberals like Letterman, who trashes Republicans every night, and the likes of Okrah and her Liberal friends. I refuse to watch and spend my hard-earned money on these pathetic entertainers who use their shows like an extentsion of the DNC. Tell their sponsors that we’re turning them off permanently.

CBS News does not endorse any candidate in the presidential race The network displays considerable chutzpah in saying that and at the same time endorsing John Bentleys analysis of Fred Thompsons words. Perhaps CBS is convinced their listeners are not able to recognize reality.
When CBS has the courage to state that CBS News does not endorse or oppose any candidate in the presidential race John Bentleys analysis will be worth consideration.
