When people quit smoking, what will they tax excessively next to make up the difference?

Alcohol! Next at the plate is MADD........the Neo-Nazi's of alcohol prohibition......

I won't get into the story of a friend of mine who was tailed from the parking lot of his local bar then nailed by the cops in front of his house for his 3rd DUI in 3 years.........

The female judge was a supporter of MADD and she threw everything including her tampons at him and his life was a nightmare for almost 3 years................

It resulted in him having to sell his house and move into an apartment across the street from his employer because he lost his license to drive completely. From the time of the third offense till his first court date (10 months) he could not drive at all.

He had to attend mandatory AA meetings once a week (hard to do without the ability to drive) attend counseling with a psychologist once a week for alcoholism (hard to do with no transportation and add the fact that he wasn't an alcoholic.

Evidence being that the psychologist recognized this fact and had the common sense and courtesy to mail him a weekly report without requiring him to see her which he had to turn in ) From the court date they suspended his drivers license for an additional year.

For the following year he had to breath into some device they had attached to his car every time he entered it.

Total cost to him was in the neighborhood of $30,000...............

For anyone here saying "he deserved it" due to his 3rd DUI, keep in mind that the highest he ever recorded in his 3 DUI's was .12 and his 3rd arrest registered .10 when the law says .08..........He didn't even have a buzz.........
