Hah! Libs are such transparent, pathetic commies.

To be fair, the book of Leviticus strictly forbids the opening of the Alaskan National Wildlife Refuge to oil exploration.

WaPo Religion Blogger Attacks Sarah Palin's Religion

Palin's taking flak...because she's "over the target".
And delivering direct hits!

You can hear the desperate cries grow more shrill...
as Obama and Co. find hope of gathering in the religious
folks in the middle and leaning right waning day-by-day.

You would think the WaPo would find a religion writer that is more in tune with what the majority of Americans believe, and not some post-modern-marxist milch chewing cow that has tried to pull Christianity into her own ‘worker’s vision of paradise.’ The gal needs to get out more or at least be fair and ask the same types of questions about Obama’s church of 20-years.

Democrats that I know had a real hard time accepting “anyone who was mormon” when Mitt Romney was the likely VEEP candidate. Now I hear riduculous fearmongering about Assemblies of God, and how other Christians - “real Christians” (like Methodists) could never support a Pentecostal, Assemblies of God et al

Ordained minister? So what. Do you realize, if the rapture of the church were to occur today, just how many churches there are that would not have to get a new minister?

That means, in a literal reading of scripture, that the authority in the Palin family rests with her husband.

How does a religion blogger not know that authority within the family has no bearing on anything outside the family?

“contextual theologies of liberation.”

Funny, we science types used to call “expertise” like this by a different name, “Underwater Basket Weaving”.

Greetings buzzyboop:

This tripe masquerades as religious journalism?

Abstinence-only programs have been shown to be ineffective in preventing teen pregnancy, a fact that Palin has just proven in her own family and the unmarried pregnancy of her 17-year old daughter.

Who knows, perhaps Bristol and her betrothed were drinking the pop culture kool-aid; that condoms allegedly prevent pregnancy.

Cheers,
OLA

Rev. Susan Brooks Thistlethwaite is professor of theology at Chicago Theological Seminary and senior fellow at the Center for American Progress.

Isn't that Jeremiah Wright's seminary?

This is hilarious and it shows that the Rats are really losing it. Other than Liberation Theology, to what denomination does this three name aristocrat belong. Thistlethwaite, I wonder if she drinks wine with her pinkie out.

The United Church of Christ: Susan Brooks Thistlethwaite Responds ...Feb 27, 2008 ... Dr. Susan Brooks Thistlethwaite, president of UCC-related Chicago Theological Seminary,

unitedchurchofchrist.blogspot.com/2008/02/susan-brooks-thistlethwaite-responds-to.html

Barack Obama is/was a United Church of Christ (UCC) member.

Trinity UCC Chicago is a UCC Church.

Jeremiah Wright is a UCC minister.

Should it be any surprise to anyone that Dr. Susan Brooks Thistlethwaite, president of UCC-related Chicago Theological Seminary, would write a hit piece on Palin.

The UCC is another of Obama’s relations that need to be exposed.

The UCC is a leftist run organization.

Palin, the presumptive Republican vice-presidential candidate, belongs to an Assemblies of God

Does this mean that Pastor Wright's church teachings are back in play in this election?

While Palin grew up in an Assembly of God congregartion, she's a member of Wasilla Bible Church.

Anybody with a modicum of knowledge about evangelical Christianity knows trhat while The Bible Church movement and the Assemblies of God may may be similar in some respects and cooperative across many goals, they are also distinctive from each other.

The Reverend Doctor Sister Thistlewaite should know better. In March she wrote an article decrying "Spies in the Pew" about how shameful it was that people went to Jeremiah Wright's church and took notes!

That's not a problem for her now. Suddenly, she rather likes the idea. I wonder if her doctorate was in "Christian Nuances in Pagan Labyrinthology."

At the Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Clergy Advisory Board 2006 meeting, a thought-provoking keynote address titled "How Is It with Your Soul?" was delivered by the Reverend Dr. Susan Brooks Thistlethwaite, president and professor of theology at Chicago Theological Seminary.

The body of the address validated all abortionists and abortion seekers as good Christians and those opposed to abortion as Unchristian. Additionally Thistlethwaite validated Islam as a religion compatible with and equal to, Christianity.

Now you know why this shill hates Sarah Palin.
